These types of rugs are similar to shenille top of Ruggable. However, these are a very low pile with printed designs. That is why these rugs can be a hit or a miss. Personally, I think the longer the pile the worse it looks - it is neither traditional colored pile nor printed shenille. Instead of a separate rubber mat there is a thin rubber backing. We shall see how the rug holds through laundry. Ruggable is amazing and durable and it is totally worth the money. Many people complain about the price. However, if you end washing the rug at least twice, you break even. Plus, you can buy another rug using the original rubber mat which cuts the price in half. I needed a rug pronto and, currently, could not drop the money on the brand. So, I chose short tern convenience opposed to a long term investment. As I said earlier, the print is lovely. It is a darker, warm and sophisticated pallet. From across the room, it looks nicer and pricey. It is definitely more greige than green as shown in the photo. But, luckily, it worked in my dining room. Update: rug returned. After raving about the look of the rug, I tried vacuuming it. It is impossible. On a proper pile setting, the vacuum sucks the rug in because it is too light. When I adjust the pile setting to, essentially, 70's shag, the vacuum doesn't pick up all the debris, yet still occasionally ends up sucking in the rug. Cheep nightmare! I was able to purchase a chenille rug with cotton backing, which was really hard to find post pandemic. It is thin but heavy enough for vacuuming. I love the pattern and how soft this rug is! It’s nice and big and looks perfect in my living room. It is, however, very thin. There isn’t any cushion to it at all, but that doesn’t bother me. The way it was shipped made it very easy to lay down, and the sides don’t come up at all.

The media could not be loaded. The top is fuzzy and has a bit of a knap. The back has a very thin soft backing. I like that it has a faded/distressed look. I like that it is not heavy and is lightweight. What I am not so sure that I like is that it almost feels like a fuzzy blanket instead of a rug. Most rugs get shipped rolled up- not this one. This was folded like a blanket! When putting it down you have to work at laying it flat so there are no wrinkles. I felt like I was laying a blanket down. If you are looking for a traditional rug feel- this may not be the right one for you. If you are looking for a thin lightweight rug that feels like blanket this rug is for you. ... show more

Size, Color, easy, easy, easy to clean, vacuum doesn’t do so well, but my carpet sweeper does love the nonskid back and the antique look of these rugs, it just lighten the whole room up over hardwood floors the dog even loves it.
