This works and attaches to the window area of a portable air conditioner’s exhaust hose, but I am not sure how much it works for me. It definitely can reduce air flow blowback from the hose expelling hot air outside, but I can still feel some heat, so the material is not insulating enough. Needed this for a portable AC. Surprised to find it’s a canvas like material, was expecting a hard shell thing. This was very easy to install because it’s waterproof cloth type of material. Because of the cloth like material I believe that’s the reason it will fit any portable AC unit.

This is not what I thought I was getting (I know read more carefully). This is not solid plastic or anything close. It is relatively thin plastic. It's not as flimsy as all that, but it's not far off. The good news is that this will help seal a portable A/C hose to a vertical window. The bad news is that I don't know how long that will last.     • It does what it's suppose to...
It seals out the hot air that you're trying to release .. but it's a pain to assemble in a window. A lot of lining up weird Velcro, and making sure everything is perfect.... It works - but it's a headache.

I got a portable ac that has to vent out the window and needed something to close the gap. Most of the ones you can purchase in stores is for a sliding window style so I am quite happy to find this one that is styled for a window that opens outward. Installation was pretty straight forward and easy which surprised me because I thought it would be more complex given the pictures and instructions.
