    • Impressed with the entire unit!
I'll get the only negative thing out of the way. The unit was supposed to be delivered on a certain day, almost 10 days after the order was placed, and at the last minute the arrival date was pushed back. I called Amazon support to see what could be done. I was given a secure arrival date within 24 hours and the unit came right on time. I open all of my big purchases immediately and turn everything on. This was an easy set up. The function of the louver seems slick, the air gets cold fast, the machine IS NOT THAT LOUD. I have to overstate that because a lot of reviews mentioned it. We live in south Florida, and summertime power outages SUCK. Humid, warm, non-circulating air is no fun. We will gladly fall asleep to the sound of this machine as it litters our bedroom with cool air. My dog is excited, my girlfriend is happy, and I firmly believe we made a great choice. If you are thinking of buying this, I vote YES as long as it makes sense for your living situation. ... show more

I've only had it a couple of days. I bought it to use in my bedroom at night. It seems to be working fine. Cool wells and the dehumidifier draws a lot of water while blowing cool air at the same time, which is a plus. It is louder than I anticipated, which will take time to get used to. I did have an issue with the window slide as my window is too deep causing the hose to interfere with the window attachment. To remedy the problem I had to insert a 1-by to raise the slider and hose up (see photo). Also, the window hose attachment doesn't want to stay connected to the slide due to the weight of the hose. I'm going to have to place something under the hose to keep the weight off of the connector. I hope that will remedy the issue. Also, although the panel lights dim in sleep mode, it still emits a lot of light. To remedy that, I place a dry wash rag over the panel. Bottom line--it does cool making sleeping more comfortable. I live in western Washington. And it just doesn’t get hot often enough to justify a full central air AC system. This little portable unit work great for the few days a year I need it. Won’t chill the home house but at least we can keep the living room cool and we have window units In The bedrooms.

The media could not be loaded. The company is excellent to work with. I needed a longer window slide for exhaust and it took a few weeks but they came through with great communication. Nice quiet little unit. 14000 btu easy to use remote control. Dehumidifier as well as ac unit. Only downside is keeping a bucket at the back fills up with water and has to be dumped daily. ... show more

The seller is pretty transparent in regards to the information they say, so 53 dB’s means this machine is going to come through at 53 decibels— Minimum. Therefore, if you’re looking for a quiet unit, this ain’t it. It is LOUD. I wasn’t concerned with the noise, so I understood what that dB meant in terms of selling a product, I just wanted something to get me through these hot 85% humidity summers effectively. Energy consumption isn’t awful, could be better. I can personally state that after testing the energy with my provider and location’s off-on peak by running this for approx.12 hrs, I was using up to 20.00kWh/hr with only this unit and a fan running for the entire duration.. my daily average is 10.00 with a fan on top of multiple electronics being used. You can take that calculation at face value and apply it to your own billing cycles. Understand this is just my own experience and detailed view of my own home report. That being said, the air out of this unit is immediately very cold. Larger rooms like mine require time to fully cool with a portable AC, so don’t expect some wizard to pop in and make it snow in your home when you switch it on. These are not ideal for that kind of job, but they do work well (like this one) if given patience, but cannot be compared to built-in home AC.     • WEAK, Unit received is as pictured, but does not have the spec's as touted in the description.
Got it about 2 hours ago, carefully removed the unit, it was in perfect shape and looked like the photo, it was as heavy as stated about 60 lbs in box, but that's actually light weight so I figured they lightened the system using aluminum to get the BTUs touted. The provided User Manual says BTU's much lower than touted and a test demonstrated that it was very weak compared to our 14,000 BTU Frigidaire that we are replacing. Frankly, I am leaning toward the idea that this is NOT an honest mistake on the part of the seller. It will be picked up tomorrow. Pro's the unit is quiet as touted. NB the blue strips seen in the video are also on the product that was shipped to me--they probably are removable. Whatever. ... show more

This unit works great but the power cord gets really hot and mine melted into my outlet. I need to reach out to the seller but do not have their email. Please help
