Bought this vacuum sealer for our daughter as a birthday gift. Since we had a box heading her way we decided to send it early and our timing was perfect. She had just bought a large package of meat on sale and decided to try out the new sealer. It worked flawlessly and she couldn't wait to tell us how excited she was to receive it. She especially liked the "moist" setting that we'd not seen on another brand or model. She also commented on the size (takes up much less storage space than other models without sacrificing any of the features she was looking for). Heats quickly and seals beautifully. I bought two of the same model that was a little less than half the price of this one. You know why it was half the price? Because that's about as often as it actually worked. This one works great, EVERY time. Big bags, little bags, bags you cut down from other bags.... it's great. Definitely worth paying a little more for something that actually works.

I replaced a stopped-working high end vacuum sealer with this cheaper unit and am happy with the results. Vacuum sealers of this type are not appliances that you will have a long-term relationship with - even the expensive ones are good for a couple of years before they stop working correctly. So I went into this purchase knowing that if I get a year or so out of it, I'll be ok. In the meantime, my Costco ground beef and steaks I purchase in bulk will be just find when I vacuum pack and freeze them. Plusses of this Beelicious unit - small and easily stored in a kitchen cabinet - detachible power cord makes storage even easier - simple to operate - like most vacuum sealers, there's not many controls Negatives - the bag cutter is a bit awkward to use - it takes two hands to operate - there are no optional attachments - like the plastic tube you could use to seal jars. I never use those, so not a big deal. But this unit has the means to do this but they can't include a two cent plastic tube? - to vacuum a bag of whatever, you have to really press down on the cover until it snaps in place. Most units have a latch-handle that you snap down, but to save space, this unit requires you to press down pretty hard - about five pounds of pressure - to ensure a tight seal to operate.

I got this to replace another vacuum sealer that died on me. This one has been great. It’s relatively small, easy to use, and seals great! I love having a moist and dry option, because a lot of what I seal has moisture to it that if it’s not on the moist setting, the vacuum sucks out the liquid, making a mess and not allowing the bag to seal properly. The moist button solves that issue beautifully and stops vacuuming earlier to be able to seal the bag with the moisture still inside the bag. It’s great!

Very little instructions and what was there was difficult to understand. There seems to be a learning curve. Very flimsily made. I have been successful in using it with hamburger meat, but one package did not seal good. You definitely need more bags, but glad they provided some. It was hard to choose the correct bags to buy, but from reading reviews, I saw that you had to have the ones that are textured on one side only. I think I ordered the right ones.

I really like this Vacuum Sealer Machine. I got this to replace another brand vacuum sealer that died on me. This one has been great. It’s small, easy to use, and seals great! because a lot of what I seal has moisture it has a moist button which solves that issue and stops vacuuming earlier to be able to seal the bag with the moisture still inside the bag.
