It was difficult to use at first. It wouldn’t suck the air out. Then I figured out you want the bag just under the clip not too far back and it started working perfectly. Make sure you seal a second time after the vacuum seal or juices will leak. It works fast. A few seconds from start to vacuum sealed. So far food appears to still be fresh. Oh the app it talks about in the pictures but lists absolutely nowhere and doesn’t give a QR code for is Beelicious. It’s definitely one heck of a space saver. It’s not bulky either it has a sleek design. Mine looks exactly like the picture.

This replaced my Food Saver that I had for 8 years which was more expensive than this one. I was a little unsure if it would be able to do as much as the old one and I was pleasantly surprised. It's smaller, easy to move and it's so, so much quieter that I was not sure it was working. But it was! I already used the rolls of bags so I can make my own size so that was not a change and so convenient. It has the same "dry or moist" settings. It has the same "seal" and "Vac & seal" functions. Then there is another function that I love. It's the "pause" function. When I buy a double loaf bag of bread I can seal one with the pause function. You can vacuum the bag until it takes just the right amount of air out then freeze it. When you take it out of the freezer it's just as fresh as when you bought it. The only downside is that the seal strip gets very hot and you need to let it cool if you are doing a lot of things at a time. What happens when it gets too hot and you try to vacuum a bag, it seals before it can vacuum it. You just let it cool for a minute and then get back to it. This vacuum sealer is so much nicer than my last one and I would recommend it to anyone.

This vacuum sealer machine is so easy to use and works perfectly. We are using it for meal prep for our mother. It vacuum seals all of the flavor in and makes the food last a lot longer. Just leave enough room in your bag to seal properly.

I've had this vacuum sealer for over a year and use it pretty regularly. I would definitely recommend it. Inevitably in the future this one will quit working and I would replace it with the same thing. Two things that I would improve are: the vacuum chamber tray would be easier to clean if it were removable and the lid should open just a little bit wider because it closes on my hands sometimes. I have actually broken both of the bag stoppers off trying to clean out the little chamber.

I replaced a stopped-working high end vacuum sealer with this cheaper unit and am happy with the results. Vacuum sealers of this type are not appliances that you will have a long-term relationship with - even the expensive ones are good for a couple of years before they stop working correctly. So I went into this purchase knowing that if I get a year or so out of it, I'll be ok. In the meantime, my Costco ground beef and steaks I purchase in bulk will be just find when I vacuum pack and freeze them. Plusses of this Beelicious unit - small and easily stored in a kitchen cabinet - detachible power cord makes storage even easier - simple to operate - like most vacuum sealers, there's not many controls Negatives - the bag cutter is a bit awkward to use - it takes two hands to operate - there are no optional attachments - like the plastic tube you could use to seal jars. I never use those, so not a big deal. But this unit has the means to do this but they can't include a two cent plastic tube? - to vacuum a bag of whatever, you have to really press down on the cover until it snaps in place. Most units have a latch-handle that you snap down, but to save space, this unit requires you to press down pretty hard - about five pounds of pressure - to ensure a tight seal to operate.
