Works as expected. Only complaint is the seals on the top and bottom stick together, and the top seal pops out after storing. I solved this by placing parchment paper between the lids before closing. Problem solved.

Have used FoodSavers for years, the last one I purchased (just before this one) was junk. I had already tossed the packaging so I could not return it. I spent a lot of time reading reviews on the various brands and decided this one appeared to be the best. This time, I saved the packaging in case I needed to return it but it did not disappoint! The machine came minus the instructions and the hose. Sometimes it will have a strong suction but most of the time it does not suck all the air out
