This was a Christmas gift for my husband and he liked it, he likes to make steaks and always said he needed a sealer, so I got this one with a good price. And it works! It's the perfect size and doesn't take up much counter space. Works great and gets food sealed tightly.

It would not totally vacuum seal and it took forever for it to even partially vacuum seal. I did everything exact way that the manual said to do, and it just would not work right.

This vacuum sealer seemed to work well but after a number of tries, kept letting in air after moving from suction to sealing function automatically. Will be returning. UPDATE 12/14/23 - seller reached out to troubleshoot and sent new unit. Tested on various dry goods and it suctioned better than the first one, still had a bit of leakage when sealing, but then automatically suctioned again before finishing the seal. I'm not sure what was different about the first one and the replacement, but this is worth keeping and using in my kitchen. Added back 4 stars because the first one didn't work well, and +1 for the seller standing by their product.
