It took over 8 hours for a skilled handyman to put together. Poor instructions and pieces don’t line up properly with holes. Cost me $150.00 to have it put together

I don't know if these pieces were used and there were scratches and they tried to cover it up before repackaging and selling. I just can't find an answer that this would have happened while being manufactured and put into a box. Luckily the pieces that are scuffed are inside so I continued to build it and just keep it together. But I'm very disappointed in the lack of craftsmanship of buying a new piece of furniture that this has.

I bought this because I wanted to treat myself and I was anxiously waiting for it to arrive. I am currently building it and I start noticing there are certain damaged areas, I thought nothing of it. Then metals are bent, screws are damaged holes are so wide that the screw won't even screw in anymore. This totally crap. I'm not going to return it because I already threw the box away, but I would like a discount since this is not what I paid for. This it very very disappointing. Now I have to figure out how to build this with screws that won't go into the holes they are meant to!!!!
