  • Great bike and awesome customer service
Color: 48V20Ah Brown
The bike is great, I had a battery issue and I sent them an email and they responded within 12 hours and after talking they sent me a full new battery free of charge, it is safe with a really comfortable seat. It got a great size and can easily fit in a garage. It’s not high but you can adjust the seat and same with the mount the screen is on. It rides very smooth and can go up to 32 mph with adjustments in the setting. I think it has overall great performance and is very good for the price ... show more

  • You Gotta Buy this
Color: 48V20Ah Black
This Ebike is amazing. The pedal assist is quite snappy and the bike handles very nicely. I did have an issue with the throttle but the company handled it very well. Just so you all know, I'm 61 years old and I feel like a kid again with this bike. I would recommend this bike to anyone wanting a cool looking and awesome riding bike. Well worth the money spent. Also I'm a bit large at 5 foot 11 and 265 lbs. and this bike has plenty of power to not only haul me but a trailer with 165 lbs. of lawn equipment. With me and my equipment, I was able to pedal assist to 24 mph. With just me, I was able to reach 27 mph. with pedal assist. I have not been able to test the throttle, as it takes a bit more time and road to reach top speed but under its own power it reaches 32.5 mph........ You got to buy this bike!!! ... show more

  • Great e-bike!
Color: 48V20Ah Black
We looked at several e-bikes and this is a great e-bike, easy controls, good power, comfortable to ride, great for street ridding and mild off road, and frame is solid and decent price. Although, I would recommend replacing the stock tires and tubes with more durable ones. It’s worth it! And if you like doing more off road you might want to get a hydraulic shock to replace the spring shock. ... show more

  • Do not buy a from Amyet you will regret it , I do
Color: 48V20Ah Brown
Do Not Buy A Bike From Amyet I had to change my review to a one-star. I loved the bike when I got it. Ran perfect works great. I bought it in the end of 2024. And now it's the end of 2025 just over a year. The battery no longer holds a very good charge. You expect for $800 to get a bike that would work for more then a year. I contacted Amyet to see if I could buy another battery. And if they would help me out at all, they would not. This bike is truly less than a year old and they won't even contact me cuz they don't want to warranty anything. You can see by my reviews I don't give bad reviews to people this is just truly a bad company. Save yourself heartache go with a different company. They emailed back asked me for information about the bike and told me that They weren't willing to warranty the battery at all. They never emailed me back after the initial email nothing. So their customer service is non-existent. You spend a lot of money on one of their bikes and only get one year out of it. They never got back to me so I'm not even able to buy a battery. You will have to buy a new bike. They don't sell replacement batteries. They don't stand by their product anyway shape or form. This is too bad because they make a nice bike. I do not recommend them , STAY AWAY from Amyet unless you just want to throw away $800. I would go with one of the companies that will stand by their products and give batteries that will last more than one year. And sell replacement batteries. They just leave you hanging. Please save your money and spend it with a different company. ... show more

  • 1300+ Mile Review, Great Commuter Bike AND Customer Service!
Color: 48V20Ah Brown
The Good: This is a solid, quick little bike! I bought mine October 2024 and as of this writing almost a year later in September 2025, I've put just over 1300 miles on it, mostly as a commuter bike across the Golden Gate Bridge because I got tired of the perpetually-increasing and asinine toll into San Francisco. I'm 6 feet tall and 225 and with this bike I pass the SF cycle crowd almost like they're standing still. Probably a lighter rider could run circles around them. Super73s are cool for wheelies and saying "skibidi" from etc, but if you don't care about that and you just need to get to where you're going, mash the throttle and blow right past them. There's been the odd Talaria or Sur-Ron that I've moved over for, but it's rare. The Amyet maintains enough of a regular bicycle appearance and operation that in 1300 miles, the only time I was ever stopped by the cops was for riding my bike across on the wrong side on the wrong day. They were chill though, and I think in general most cops, even in Cali where there's laws against everything, are chill about ebikes as long as you're not acting a fool. If you can ride reasonably and carefully around pedestrians and other cyclists, I think this bike will work well for you. The Not So Good: My dumb luck had me getting three flat tires in the first month or so of routine use. The tires are sort of thin, so I ordered some CST Tourance 20" tires from Cambria Bike and couldn't be happier with them. In contrast, my son has the exact same bike (had to get him one for Christmas since I liked mine so much 😁) and has never gotten a flat in about 1000 miles, so ymmv. I've edited this section to echo a suggestion given to me when I first researched this type of e-bike: GET HYDRAULIC BRAKES. Seriously. Straight up, it's a night-and-day difference in control, and if you're in a hilly area like I am, it is almost a must. You CAN get by with mechanical brakes; I did for nearly 1000 miles, but between switching out to higher quality calipers (the Amyet caliper's pinch bolt no longer held the cable tight, no matter what I did) and switching pads so often, it seems a no brainer. You will need to purchase brake levers with the e-bike brake light cutoff switch, I got a set of tried-and-true Shimano MT200s here: https://a.co/d/7ndai4O If you DIY like me, you'll have to get some BM59 hydraulic brake line hose (the length for the rear brake is too short, you'll need about 2000 mm, but you can use the 1450 mm included for the front brake), some barbs and olives, zip ties, a cutter/barb install tool, and a bleed kit. PITA? Certainly. Worth the effort? Oh yes. I've since hydraulic-braked all of my bicycles. I've had good luck with the Agptek BBP-01B pads. At 4 pairs for $12 here on Amazon (as of this writing) it's hard to go wrong. Buy them cheap, stack them deep. Changing the pads is easier on the mechanical calipers (you don't need to remove the caliper from the mount, as you would with the Shimano hydraulic calipers), but I still recommend upgrading them. Lastly, my derailleur needed a lot of adjustment, as it was rattling something fierce between gears and throwing the chain into the space between the gear assembly and the motor when put on 1st. I got all that fixed with a Park Tool video on YouTube though. My son's derailleur was perfect, however. Overall: Probably the most bang-for-my-buck bike I've ever purchased. The bike has paid for itself in bridge toll savings, and it's fun as heck to ride around in, perfect for getting around town in short distances. I can get about 20 miles on a full charge using throttle only, but generally I charge after every 15 miles or when the battery indicator has only one LED lit up. Time will tell how long this battery will last, but in just over 1300 miles, it's going as strong as it was on mile zero. I've consulted Amyet's customer service once before and had an A+ experience. My son's battery holder fell off. It had some thin tack welds holding on the threaded inserts onto the frame for the battery holder to bolt on to, and they broke loose. He may or may not have dropped the bike on its side a few times with the battery still attached, I'm really just speculating. I checked my holder having 1300+ miles on my bike now and it's rock solid. Anyway in doing so, the heavy battery fell from the bike and yanked the controller wires such that a few of them popped free of the controller board. I snapped a few pics, contacted Amyet through Amazon, gave them my order number and asked for a new controller since I was still in the 1 year warranty period. From initial email to parts at my door: 5 DAYS! I couldn't believe it! I put everything back together and the bike is good as new. So, I'm doubly glad I got this bike! Amyet will honor their warranty and take care of you quick. Buy with confidence! ... show more
