Like so many others I was nervous about whether this was the right bike to choose and I can tell you now, it is. She is so pretty and has such zip! I chose the green model and she looks and rides like a $2k bike but is in my budget! I’ve wanted an electric bike for so long and had originally started looking on Facebook marketplace but everybody wants more than I paid here for old e-bikes with 1/3 d the power and batteries there old and worn out. There are many other bikes of this step through style on Amazon, but this model has the best decals and overlook. Put her together and on my first ride to the market yesterday in New Orleans I caught two older gents standing outstanding and oggling her when I left the store. I told them where I got her and what I paid and they were both amazed. As am I and as you will be too if you buy one too. Pics to follow! ... show more

    • Great entry level e-bike that is feature filled and doesn't disappoint at its price point!
This e-bike arrived as described and putting it together took less than 30 minutes. The instructions could use a little refining but everything was pretty self explanatory. Performance of the bike is amazing for this price point in my opinion. This bike has the capability to go 28MPH as stated, that is fast on two wheels, I don't foresee the need for me to go that fast and mostly keep it in speed level(s) 2-3. Another comment on room for improvement is documentation on the computer, after a quick search online I had the manual but it does not come with the bike. Again, no big deal for this price point...this bike competes with bikes that cost 3x its cost. The only other thing I'd say is that if you ride long distances, 10+ miles, you'll probably end up investing in another seat. I've done that with all my bikes, so not suprising I'd be doing the same thing for this bike. All in all, we are very pleased with our purchase. The price for build quality didn't disappoint and we see many useful years of e-riding in our future! ... show more

I have had another brand of electric bike. I bought this because the other one was to tall. I wanted a shorter bike since I am shorter person. I am 5'2" so I found this bike to be easier to get on the bike. It was easy to assemble. It is smooth ride and love riding it around, it has great speed and seems function as it says. I love love the horn on it. I really is not noise level at all. So far battery seems to be life span on what they said. I love the color of my bike also. I also love that you do have to petal some to get speed to kick in. I would highly recommend the bike. The price point is also good. ... show more

Waited 4 months to write my review on the Movcan. First want to say that I love this bike. I’m 64 yr young woman ;-) and having a great time riding with hubby. First ride I underestimated the weight of the bike when stopping sideways on an incline. The bike is heavy and took a little getting used to. I’m 5’2 and the size is a good fit for me especially with the step through. After several rides I contacted the company because I wasn’t getting good mileage on a charge. At times only 7-10 miles before needing to charge. The company agreed to send me a new battery. I had to wait for it a few weeks but that was okay. I appreciated their customer service. Once I got my new battery I could go on further rides before charging but still not as far as the description said. Hubby has a bigger bike with dual motors and a bigger battery. When we go for a 12 -13 mile rides, I’m down to 2 lines on my battery and he still has 4-5! Because of this is why I took off 1 star. I want mention again that I was extremely happy with the fast response from customer service. I’m very happy with this bike just wish the battery lasted longer. So far so good. As a disabled Veteran mobility is an issue for me but exercise is still important. I can pedal some however cant put alot of force into it especially when going up hills. Day one took it for a 5 mile test run and it went GREAT. The lower middle helps to step on and off, the saddle bags hold my collapsible cane perfectly, and the power to go up some rather steep hils was so much better than the "isinwheel M10" my wife currently has. It was a night run so lights were on, entire time. I used the power alot to play around with it to see how well it worked. The battery did drop 2 bars. Mud flaps are metal, has the rack, feels VERY sturdy and durable. Brake light is GREAT even when lights are off, turn signals do seem to be WEAK the tailight seems overpowers it but really not a big deal for me. Overall great bike so far, If this review is still up and unedited just assume that means still VERY happy with the purchase.a ... show more

These are really great bikes. If you look closely the frames are used on several other brands that cost double or more. Also, this bike has the same battery and same motor watts and output and torque as the more expensive ones. If you can screw in a lightbulb you can put it together in under an hour. I bought two. One was perfect and one was missing a spring that goes in the quick release axle and had a scratch on the controller. The is not a big deal but have asked MovCan to replace both. (will let you know how the respond.) I have had them 3 days and put 6 miles on them on one ride. But the ride was a joy and I never could have done (I am 80) on my mountain bike. Battery seems to behave about the way Movcan describes it. Was super going up hill. Was a lot of questioning before buying but now I can recommend this bike. ... show more
