This model was a disappointment, and not worth a fraction of the price. I figured for $169 I would be receiving a high quality model; what arrived instead was a low quality 3D printed model with a significant portion of the pieces mis-printed, or not finished at all. The instructions were bad to the point of being useless. The instructions do not reference many of the pieces required to assemble the engine, and you're left just kind of guessing which piece belongs where. Point 1 - the starter was only halfway printed, rendering it useless as a component. This also means the starter ratchet would not fit on, and was also non-functional. As this is supposed to be a working model of an engine, this means the entire engine is already worthless, 4 steps into the instructions (see attached photo) Point 2 - The instructions do not reference the parts needed to complete each step, and only list the screws or bolts to be used in each step. As there are more than 100 parts in this model, many of them being identical except for a size difference of a few millimeters, this leaves the instructions useless as well. See photo # 2; There is clearly a tube that is required for this step, but it's not listed anywhere in the instructions. I understand that there when assembling a model of this caliber, there's a certain amount of figuring it out on your own. But this ain't it. The absolute awful quality of the 3D print, combined with non-existent instructions put this model squarely in the $10-$15 range. There is nothing quality or impressive about this kit. ... show more

I bought this for my son He has had a blast putting it together but it is all plastic pieces. The description wasn’t clear enough at this time about that. Either way he has enjoyed putting it together. I would not buy this for a small child. There is lots of very small pieces.

Very disappointed it came without a large portion of the pieces making it completely unbuildable. The blue foam instert in the listing was missing, Component D on the parts list, as well as the screw adhesive. From what I can find there is no options to get replacement pieces.
