The media could not be loaded. The Veeniix Air v11 is a really nice drone for the price point. I am enjoying it and would strongly recommend it. Functionality: The Veeniix Air v11 is feature packed and works absolutely great out of the box. This review is written more from the perspective as a beginner than an expert drone pilot - more advanced users may wish to read other reviews. However, for people just starting, I can report that my son and I have piloted the drone successfully several times within the first week with no problems. The drone and controller, and the controller and my Samsung phone, have both connected easily and without issue. The camera controls work smoothly, and photo and video quality is fantastic (see the photos and videos shared below taken at a university campus.) The feature where the drone automatically circles around a central point worked great. The one-key takeoff and landing, as well as the Return to Home (RTH) features also worked great out of the box. (Note: As the app says, RTH is within a meter or so - do not expect it to pinpoint land right where it took off, but it will get pretty close). So far, we have not used the "Follow Me" feature successfully - but I will research it a bit more and/or contact support, I expect I will be able to resolve that part. Ease of flight: The drone is simple to operate, even for beginners. Having the RTH feature to assist with the landing initially is very helpful. With some practice, our movement and control is becoming smoother. We have chosen good weather conditions and open areas so as to not make things too complicated, but in the attached video, you can see the drone flew easily through a relatively narrow clock tower. Build quality: Following the lead of other popular electronics companies like Apple, Samsung, and Google - Veeniix put a great deal of thought and effort even into the packaging of the product, to give the user an impression of quality from the moment they open it. The high quality continues beyond just the packaging, though - the drone and controller are durable and are packaged with a high quality case. The propellers are much lighter than the previous version, but the quality is still there.

The media could not be loaded. The Veeniix V11Air is a great drone with many fun features to offer the beginning flyer as well as the advanced. Of course the auto return home feature is one of the most important. On my first flight with this drone, I was about 1,500 ft. out when I lost the signal between the drone and controller because of trees and other obstructions. After a few seconds the return to home feature brought it back. That feature alone makes it easier to fly without the worry of loosing your drone to a fly away. GPS tracking and route planning are two more features that are very useful and fun to play with, not to mention the one button take off and landing. It is loaded with features that give the pilot the opportunity to be creative. I also like that you don’t have to calibrate it every time you launch. It only asks for calibration if there was a problem. You can bring it in, change batteries, and not have to calibrate before relaunching. I got the chance to fly over a lake with no obstacles to block communication. I went out a little over 2,500 ft and the drone worked perfectly. I have included some pics, as well as a short video. Got uninterrupted video feed, and the drone was very responsive to the controller. I find if you use the 2k@50fps you get less interference from the props while shooting video. They have a tendency to appear during maneuvers, especially in windy conditions. All and all, the drone is an excellent investment and will provide you with the opportunity to express your creativity. I would recommend this drone to anyone looking to get into drone photography. I’ve flown a variety of drones over the years, and picked this one up as a casual flyer for quick trips and test shoots. I expected “entry-level,” but what I got was a genuinely capable machine that also happens to be great for beginners. 🔋 True 35-Minute Flight Time This is one of the few drones in its price range that actually delivers on its flight time. I consistently get close to 35 minutes per battery, and with the second battery included, I can cover a lot of ground without interruption. 🎥 Clear & Steady 6K Video For a drone in this class, the 6K camera really delivers. The footage is clean and stable thanks to the built-in gimbal. Perfect for travel content, YouTube videos, or just practicing cinematic flying. Beginners will love how usable the footage is straight out of the box. 🧠 Beginner-Friendly, But Not Basic Controls are intuitive, GPS locks quickly, and features like return-to-home, follow-me, and point-to-point flying work smoothly. If you’re new to drones, this makes the learning curve much easier — but it still offers enough flexibility for more experienced users to enjoy. 🧳 Portable & Well-Packed It folds up easily and comes with everything you need: spare props, carrying case, and two batteries.
