  • Keeps hands warm!!

Exactly what it’s supposed to do

  • Great Heated Gloves, I Love Them!
I definitely wanted a pair of heated gloves as the older I've gotten, the colder my hands (and the rest of me) feel when I'm out of doors in the winter. From the description on Amazon they really seemed to fit the ticket. My hands are kinda between medium and large so I went for the larger, and they are perfect. When the gloves arrived I was concerned because the box and instructions said they were glove liners, but when I opened the package and put them on, they are perfect. Maybe you would use them as liners in extremely cold conditions but they fit the bill for what I want them for, without an over glove...I want them primarily for being out of doors in the winter, but also I want to try them as ski gloves. I know they would be good for skiing except for two problem: one, the instructions say not to subject them to forceful bending and two, if they get wet, you can't do anything but air dry them, so you might not be able to use them for multiple day ski trips. The gloves themselves feel soft and comfy. There are silicon gripping beads on the palm side. There appears to be pads to use touchscreens with the thumbs and index fingers. The battery pockets are accessed by zippered pockets on the thumb side of the wrist. There is some variability in where you can put the battery, either on the palm side of the wrist or the back of the wrist on the thumb side. I like the palm side of the wrist. The gloves come with a plug in charger, that connects to both batteries, you charge the batteries outside of the gloves. The light on the charger turns from red to green when the batteries are fully charged...takes about 1½ hrs. There are three heat settings, low, medium and high. When you put the charged batteries in the pockets there is a small wire that you uncap and plug into the battery. Just plug the cord in with enough force to make a connection, if you push it in too hard it will be tough to pull out, because there is not much that you can grab onto to pull it out...you'll be tempted to pull it out with the cord, but don't do it, it's thin and could pull apart. That's really the only negative I have. When the batteries are connected to the gloves, the end cap you removed from the plug fitting, is tethered, so as not to get lost, you replace it when you disconnect the battery. I tested the gloves on a mildly cold rainy day, and found that the low setting kept my hands as warm as I wanted the medium and high setting were definitely too high. But the gloves worked great, and that's what I hoped for. I obtained a small stuff sack to hold the gloves, batteries and charger in when not being used and it works great. I think these are very good heated gloves (technically liners I guess), that should last for many years with proper care. ... show more

  • Light weight heated gloves.
Size: X-Large
Thesee are somewhere between lightweight gloves and liners. They are just a bit thicker than I would like for liners and if used for such I would size up on the shell gloves that you use in conjunction with these liners. Because of the material that the are made of and the heating function they are just thick enough that they can be used as a stand alone glove. They heat up but I wish say that they only ate enough to keep your hands from getting uncomfortably cold. If used with a well insulated shell the warmth is increased considerably. The heating is gradual and uniform. New fully charged batteries easily lasted a day of sking, turning them off when not in use. If I would pick out anything negative is the bulk added by the battery at the wrist. This is pretty standard with all heated gloves with a battery though and not unique to this item. At this low cost it is a very good value and I would not have reservations in purchasing these. ... show more

  • I rarely give 5 stars
Size: Medium
I rarely give 5 stars but these definitely deserve 6. They are phenomenal in comparison to other heated gloves. The material is strong and super comfortable and they are screen-friendly! They fit like....a glove. The batteries could be a little smaller but I it's not a deal breaker. Fantastic!

  • Much warmer than I was expecting
Size: X-Large
My hands are always the first thing to get cold during cold weather. I have a part time job in the winter at a ski resort on their snowmaking team, so I'm outside a lot. I have tested a number of battery powered heated gloves over the past few years. These are the best of the gloves that I have tested and are half the price of some I have purchased. They heat up quickly and the heat is well distributed throughout the palm and the fingers. I wore this at work over the past two weeks when the temperatures was around 20 degrees F. I was surprised how warm they are even when the power setting is at medium. At the medium setting, I get about 4 hours of battery life out of them. The batteries seem to take about 2 hours to charge up fully. It comes with a charger that charges both batteries at once, but you have to take the batteries out of the battery pocket on the glove to charge them. I wanted to test these on a 5 degree F day, but have not had the chance yet. Those are the days that my hands get really cold. I'm using these as a liner for some waterproof shells. They are actually a bit thick to be considered a glove liner. And, the battery (which is next to the wrist) is in an awkward place. My job is really hard on gloves plus we are pulling our gloves off very frequently to use our hands for things that are hard to do with gloves. I have found if I pull the outer glove off, I can use these gloves to operate touch screens pretty easily and control panels on snowmaking equipment. While I'm using them as liners for some waterproof outer shells, I think these would work well on their own for light use as they are pretty durable. Not "construction work" durable, but durable for everyday use like biking, walking your dog, etc... They are not waterproof, so if you are planning to use them to ski, you will need an outer shell to put over them. ... show more
