It’s the start of another Midwest winter using these here in the United States, and I thought it time to write a review because I’m very happy with them. I like having active heating while out in the cold; having something warm to hold is somehow really good for my morale. These are the fourth set of electronic hand warmers I’ve bought, and I feel like I’ve finally found the perfect product. Previous warmers were either too big, or too small. The large ones were great at keeping my hands warm, and lasted a long time, but took up too much space in my pocket, and were kind of heavy. The little ones were of course inadequate in both size and run times. I use these to keep my hands warm while dog walking. I wear a thin glove on my dominant hand to dole out treats and to wield a poop bag. These hit the sweet spot: they are the perfect size for my XL hands to hold, and they last a satisfactory amount of time. A long press on the left-side button turns on the warmer; a short press shows you the battery level, 0% - 100%. It always starts at the lowest level, showing “L1.” Only one side of the warmer is now emitting heat, at its lowest output. A short press on the right-side button raises the output thru four levels to “L4.” A long press on the right-side button switches the warmer to high; both sides now output heat. The LED screen shows “H1,” which amusingly looks like “Hi.” Quick presses of the right-side button cycle you thru H-1/H-2/H-3/H-4 and then back to H-1. I have found that the H-2 setting keeps my hands toasty while walking my dog. Most walks use between 10% to 20% of battery power; plugged into a USB-C cord, they charge up within an hour to be used again. I estimate that on the H-2 setting, which is my usual setting, they will last around ninety minutes, although I am rarely outside with a dog that long. If I am going to be outdoors all day I usually use several chemical hand warmers per pocket. There is a USB port, in case you wanted to use it as a power bank; I have never done so, and would hazard it would deplete quickly if used to power up a phone. There is a light on a corner, but it is pretty weak and not much use. A quick triple press of the left button turns it on or off. Really the only criticism I have is that the hard shell is slick, and they have slid out of my coat pockets, though they sustained no damage hitting the sidewalk. I’m going to try putting a tough wide rubber band around them to give a bit of grip. So, a great product at a great price: they’ll easily keep your hands warm for most needs, they’re simple to use, and I think they’re the perfect size.

I hate mosquitoes almost as much as I wish the hate was mutual. For whatever reason, I've always been a magnet to them, especially during the summer. If I cover my body with sleeves and long pants and a blanket, they'll find my cheek or eyelid instead. I've tried a lot of things to remedy the resultant itch: those itch-sucking tools (doesn't work), topical/oral antihistamines (delayed effect, suffering in the meantime), and a hot spoon to the bite zone (works, but annoying to set up and loses heat fast). The flashlight on these is super weak, as is the phone charging speed and capacity, especially relative to modern phones' power needs. The handwarming, however, is perfect; it's been a great comfort to me when I've been sick. Like, when you're sick and getting up every few minutes to vomit bile, you don't really realize how cold your hands feel until you get something to warm them up. And, on the hottest setting (L4 or H4), it's also hot enough to denature the protein that causes the reaction to mosquito bites when held against the bite zone, while also not giving you a third degree burn, though you should still exercise caution and remove it as soon as it gets too uncomfortable. Maybe I'd give this 4/5 for the advertised uses, but for being my mosquito bite holy grail, it's undoubtedly a 5/5.

I am always cold especially during the winter and these hand warmers have been a lifesaver. I love how they warm up quickly and keep my hands warm for a long time. I usually keep them in my coat pockets with my hands and they help keep my body warm as well. Besides keeping my hands warm they have some other really cool features. They have a flash light feature which comes in handy when using them at night. I really like that they can be used as a power bank as well. I've had to use them to charge my phone many times and it is nice to know you have this capability when away from electrical outlets. The hand warmers are really easy to use with a display to show the level and temp. They have multiple heating levels which I like because when I am warmed up I can turn it to a lower setting. Overall a great purchase - I think it would make a great present for the holidays for the winter.

I purchased 3 sets of these. Two of the sets work great and heat up very quickly. The 3rd set charged fine but on our first campout using them, one stopped working completely. It won't charge or turn on. We are 3 days past the return date and can't return/replace it. If we had the option, I'd replace it because we love the others. I wish their window for replacements was longer as it isn't an item we use daily. We bought them for winter campouts and used it once.

As a Cigar smoker I had been looking for solutions to stay warm as we enter the winter months on the East Coast. There are a ton of options to chose from though most are disposable. From the reusable choices this seems like the best. This product is remarkable, it has a light, can warm one or two sides with 4 levels of heat and if you are outside too long it can even charge your phone! Durable, high quality, recharges quickly and works great, highly recommend!
