Size: 3" SC-01 Suction Mount
Because of all my suction cup mounts this one is taller and more narrow than the others. Narrow means less surface area for the suction. However after testing this thing held up really well and the fact that the mountain is taller makes it a little easier to put attachments on it. This of course has the same problem every other one does which you get the same crappy plastic phone mount. But the action camera mount is really solid. So for any smooth metal or glass this thing really holds up. It hung 5 pounds off of a mirror for three days and didn’t leak at all. Though I am going to confess I have never had the guts to put any kind of camera on the outside of my car while driving with a suction cup. I have used a gigantic magnetic mount with three large magnets. I was nervous enough but once you start moving everything changes and I still haven’t scraped up enough confidence to try one of these in a moving car, Ulanzi Generally makes good stuff and this is no exception. The build quality is solid in the fit and finish are excellent. If I finally was going to I use a suction cup on my car though I probably wouldn’t go smaller than 6 inches. Because that’s the ones that people used to actually climb up the buildings with. However a smaller diameter does have its advantages when you’re dealing with slightly curved surfaces you’re mounting to. So I don’t mind having a smaller one in my arsenal. One day I might be forced to put it on my car and go somewhere, but today is not that day. It deals great with static weight but dynamic motion and vibration I am not quite ready to experiment. I think I need to make a dummy camera of similar size and weight and aerodynamic profile, maybe carve a heavy block a wood and mount it on there and drive around for a couple hours and see if it holds up. It’s funny I just had the idea while I’m writing this review. If I do that a few times without incident I might have the courage to put a camera on it. ... show more

I ordered the super clamp and tried to use the 3/8 thread mount and broke of the adapter as it was too hard to thread. Contacted customer service for help and advice and ended up getting a new one for no charge! Besides me messin up, the quality and variety of use is unmatched for the price
