I bought two of these when they were on sale for $18.00. I wish I had purchased a couple more now that their price has substantially increased. This blanket is impossibly soft on the colored side. The Sherpa lining is irresistibly inviting. Unlike most other inexpensive blankets, this one is quality made. The seams are straight, the Sherpa is of excellent quality and does not shed. The colored side also does not shed. Given that my cats shed, having a blanket that does not shed is a treat! I live in deep snow and ice country, but keep a cool house. Electricity is expensive, my main heat source is propane. Given I live way up on a mountain, propane delivery is very limited. The temperature outside may be below zero, but my house is still kept at 58-65 degrees. With this blanket to snuggle into, I do not notice the chill. In fact, at times, I tend to push the blanket down off my shoulders to my waist because this blanket provides such warmth, even in a cool house, this blanket keeps me warm even with minimal coverage. I am a full-time RV'er and when the temp dips down to minus 24, 'Snuggy' (besides my cats) is my best winter friend. I bought two about a week apart because my cats discovered how warm and friendly this blanket is, so the second blanket was for me! I don't worry about their fur because this blanket washes and dries as beautiful as it looks. As far as durability, my cats 'make biscuits' on this blanket frequently without harming either side. Of course, I keep their claws clipped rather short, so for those cats who have longer claws, what damage they may do I do not know, but 'their' blanket has not suffered damage. If these blankets ever go on sale again, I will definitely purchase another two, or three! If you keep a cool house, or get easily chilled, this blanket will become your best wintertime friend! ... show more
