I just received it and it is very nice... but I'm writing this review in hopes that it may help someone. I was looking for a bed protector.. 1 that would prevent leaks 100%. I'm not sure if such a thing exists but this does not do that. I did a test upon arrival.. In 1 area i poured approximately 1/4 cup of water and it did not soak through. In a different area i poured about 1/2 of a cup of water and when I looked on the other side the water was going through only where the stitching was in that area. It was very very little water.. but it did come through. So no, this is not 100% leak proof.. but on another note the water dried up very fast lol.. so that's a plus. So with all of that being said I'm keeping it because it' still will come in handy..plus it's sooooooooo soft. ... show more

I actually bought this for the mattress we have in the back of our Subaru Outback because that’s usually where we sleep when we go camping and let me tell you it makes a night and day difference in comfort!! It’s obviously a very slim mattress since it’s in the back of our car so there’s not much comfort to begin with and putting this topper on made it so much softer and nicer to sleep on. It’s also been sturdy because our dogs lay on it as well when they’re in the car and there’s not a single hole or rip after having it for the better part of a year. Makes us wonder why we waited so long to buy this. It is thick and soft and you can definitely feel the difference on the mattress, even though our mattress is a pillow top.
