These are nice and warm which is what they need to be. I'm about 6' and about 190lbs to start off. I ordered a large and the top fits perfectly. The bottoms though would fit someone who is about a foot taller than me, either that or I should wear them up past my nipples. This isn't my first pair of thermal underwear so I'm pretty sure they are just very long. They will still work but they won't be my base layer like I had intended. I bought these for a ski trip, and planned on using them for fishing and hunting as well. The material is not really as heat retaining as other thermals are, so I was a bit disappointed in them at first. The bigger problem however, is that they are very, very long. I’m 5’10” and weigh about 185, and I ordered a large. I’m thinking I should have ordered a medium though, because these things could comfortably fit someone who is 6’6”. If I put the leg cuffs on my ankles, I can lift the waist band up above my nipples at full length. I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal but now when I wear them I have a ridiculous amount of excess material in my crotch, which ends up causing chafing. Overall, they’re fine for a base layer in moderate temps if you’re tall or you order the right size. ... show more

I didn't know what to expect with some of the online comments about sizing - but mine fit perfect. These are not only warm, but they look great and quite stylish. I didn't just want thermal underwear, I wanted something a step above exercise tights and these are that. I wanted to be able to go back to cycling in these colder months and have something to keep warm, while getting some good exercise - and looking sporty all at the same time. This product fits the bill! The only thing I haven't figured out is what to wear underneath while cycling - underwear or cycling shorts (an abbreviated pair) - because some added support will be needed. They are a bit thick to wear shorts over the thermals. Overall, I am very pleased with this product! Oh yeah, this is minor, but you might need someone to help you out of them after a workout. I literally could not pull the top off with-out assistance from my wife - as I was sweaty after exercise and it clung a bit tighter with the perspiration. ... show more

I’m 6’3” 210 lbs. with a 32 inch inseam...so my height is in my torso. I have the large size. But the top is still plenty long to overlap. As the other reviews state, there is too much length in the top half of the pant. And they bottom of the pants don’t quite reach my ankles so if you have a much larger inseam, you’ll want xl. These are awesome. Wish I knew about this style long underwear many years ago. I am bald so always cold as my wife likes the house cold so I can wear around the house instead of a jacket. I also mountain bike in the winter and snowboard. I could almost just wear these mountain biking in 45 degree weather. Trying out snowboarding in the rockies next week and already know I will not need as many layers on. People have complained about the length. I am 5'8" with about a 31" inseam. Yes, they are long but probably on purpose. These are for winter athletic endeavors so you need them to stay up. The legs are not long but the waist section is. You just pull it up higher than typical so they do not come down. If that is an odd feeling to you, just fold down the waist a little. ... show more

I wish Amazon showed "Recent Reviews" first, rather than having a drop down of "Top Reviews". Anyway, I've purchased these and after have using these products in cold weather, I rate these 3 stars. Would I buy more, or buy again?? No. Would I recommend others to buy? Depends what they need and are looking for. You might be better off buying thermals at WALMART. This is my experience, I cannot speak for anyone else. You may or may not have the same experience but to help you on your research of buying or looking for another product. Here's what I've got to say -- I was in search of something warm to wear under clothes, during winter months or even just chilly days. I then came across these. They are a bit pricey and more than I expected to pay for something like this, but the pictures look intriguing and it had a ton of positive comments. I made my purchase. I actually was so confident in the product that I bought 2 pairs which came with 2 tops and 2 bottoms. I have tried these in very cold days, and snow days and I still find myself to be cold. Obviously, I wouldnt expect for these to be like some thermal jacket and wearing these Im not going to feel anything. To give you a better impression of how I felt, I did compare these to my normal compression pants. I am an athelete and I regularly go to the gym. As a norm, I wear compression shorts or compression pants under my pants. It's just comfortable for me. You may be the same. Maybe not. How cold I felt with my compression pants, and with these thermals were like the same. I would probably say, these thermals kept my legs 5% more warmer than my regular gym compression pants. Which isn't much a difference. If someone were to ask me in persion, I would say "these are just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllleeee bit more warmer, but not even a difference to talk about", now Im not as cold as if I didn't wear any these and just had pants on, but enough to question the material. To be honest and im not trying to talk stuff about the people who make these, but my $5 thermals at WALMART kept me warmer than these. Sometimes, because things look fancy, have a lot of cool pictures, talk about this and that. Doesn't mean its a good product and you really take a juggle when trying to do your research by reading comments from other buys. We all know, buying online is like having your eyes closed with clothes. So UP 2 YOU. Oh also, for the sizing if you are going to buy these. I just bought 1 size up from my normal size. They fit. Remember these are compression, so they are going to fit tight to your body. If I had a friend or someone looking for some warm thermals, I would not recommend these. Not perse, if its the style they are looking for, sure whatever, but if they could try another product, I would say to do that instead or simply go to Walmart or Target or whatever and just buy thermals there.
