This 100% cotton blanket is excellent. I've been looking for a high quality woven blanket like this one for a while. If you've ever had a great year round blanket like this, you know how well made they are. This one is actually a comfortable weight. Seems very durable and hope for it to last years. Love the slightly oversize coverage. I wasn't looking for a soft fuzzy type blanket, so I am not comparing softness to microfiber. It is cottony smooth soft. I absolutely love this waffle weave, well made traditional cotton blanket. As it was on sale, the price was great. Would expect to pay much more. Quite satisfied with this Utopia brand Queen 90x90 inch woven cotton thermal blanket. I got the Sky Blue color and it's a lovely shade as expected. Will use year round!

This blanket was an inexpensive fix to a very expensive problem! See, I have a cat, and while I love her very much, she has a habit of attacking my blankets. She has destroyed hundreds and hundreds (and hundreds) of dollars worth of duvets and covers. Originally I used duvet covers as they were easier to wash when she inevitably shed all over them, but then she started putting holes in them. So I got rid of the covers and just left the duvet. Those were less prone to developing holes but with a king size bed they are impossible to wash in my home washer and dryer so that became an expensive route as well. In comes this fantastic blanket! Although it is very affordable it is also of very high quality! It's heavy enough where it stays in place on top of my comforter but not so heavy as to make it hot or anything like that. In fact, I would say it adds very little warmth but what it is is very durable! My cat hasn't put a single mark in it yet and the best part is that it fits very easily in my washer and dryer and comes out looking great! I would buy this blanket over and over again!

I love that this coverlet is the perfect weight for added warmth in the fall and winter. It's a little too warm for April in the south. The queen size, and color perfectly match my duvet. It stands up to the cat claws very well, so it protects the duvet from snags, and it will easily fit into the washer. My queen mattress is 12" thick, and this is a true queen size. It covers the mattress all around, with a couple of inches of overlap. It's a good value. It's textured, ( like 2"x 2" blocks of twill and seersucker.) so not silky soft, but not rough either, and it's 100% cotton, so I will not wash in hot water or dry on hot settings. The label doesn't say if it's pre-shrink. I'm happy!

I have bought around 4-5 versions of this blanket over the last couple of years. This most recent purchase of 2 Twin Sized Wedgewood Blue and 1 Queen Sized Navy Blue were for the following reasons. The twin sized were for my dogs’ beds. The queen sized was for my bed. I LOVE that they are great quality, the colour is great, they are very comfortable, and easy to care for. The twin sized is perfect for my dogs’ 4’ wide beds. Blue is one of the colours dogs can easily see so this has been helpful in training them. The queen sized I use for my full size bed and gives a slightly longer/bigger coverage that I like. They are a great value in what you get for the amount of money spent. Utopia is a very reliable and trustworthy brand. I have bought their sheet sets, pillow cases, and a couple of their waffle weave style blankets as well. By the way….I only gave 4:5 stars because, in my opinion, there is always room for improvements. I am sure, I will be purchasing more of Utopia’s products in the future.

So far so good. I've only had it on the bed for two days, but its everything I expected for the price. I got the blanket in dark blue oversized and it is huge. I have a king size bed and it has plenty of overhang on each side. It arrived pretty stiff so I washed it and it softened up a bit, but it is still just a cotton blanket, so not the same kind of softness you would get with fleeces or microfiber. It didn't appear to shrink too much in the wash. I was looking for a good blanket that I could use in the summer that would be easier to wash than quilts and comforters since the dogs sleep on the end of the bed and I wash my blankets constantly. It help up nicely in the wash, didn't fade, and my ventless dryer was able to dry it without trouble.

Blanket is good quality, heavyweight and has lots of color options. Reminds me of the blankets they use in the hospital. Seems like it will last a long time but just isn’t soft or comfortable to snuggle up with. It’s gets too heavy and isn’t soft. Not a bad product, I just prefer the softer texture.
