Y'all I could not be more happy with this backpack purse!! Happy doesn't even begin to express my satisfaction! I literally searched Amazon for 2 months!! I had atleast 9 different items in my cart (all backpack purses) in different sizes and styles. I just couldn't find THE ONE. Then Amazon (who knows exactly what I like 😉) sent me a "recommended for you" with UTO's Women's Backpack Purse. I checked out the description and measurements, comparing against my well used battered and beaten backpack purse from Journey's (which I believe cost around $60 retail (U.S.D). For the next 2 weeks, I literally spent HOURS reading every. single. review! I FINALLY made my choice in color (the lighter brown), informed my husband it was my Mother's Day Gift and confirmed my order. BEST DECISION EVER! 😁 The 3 days I had to wait for it was a mixture of excitement, wonder, and worry (because of the negative reviews). I received my new purse May 17th, just one day after Mother's Day. Y'all, I now have SIX "best days of my life" 😍😁 Today is June 13th, almost a month to the day that I received this purse and I am STILL absolutely, insanely smitten with it!! I have yet to regret this purchase and it's definitely worth the price! The negative reviews listed several "cons" but I have YET to find a single negative thing with mine. (Maybe I'm not as picky as I thought or have very low expectations 🤷) *Some reviews mention a bad smell. I think mine smelled just fine; like a new product. Not quite a leathery smell but definitely "leather like". *Some mention the zippers not lining up or snagging; mine appears to line up perfectly! As for snagging; DON'T SNATCH THE DARN THING SHUT!! 🤦🙄 It most definitely has more than enough room to fit pretty much anything smaller than a 1" (inch) binder; although I wouldn't say it's school backpack material. I have been able to fit 4 small journals, a MINI 3 ringed binder and a standard sized Bible, as well as a big pen/pencil bag (atleast 8x4, maybe bigger) with other everyday items like my wallet, Chapstick, gum, an inhaler, a medication bottle and my .22 handgun at one time! That's just the main pocket! I could have probably fit more! My husband FEARS having to look through it! He says he's deathly afraid he'll fall in and get lost! 😂 The side pockets are perfect for a can or bottled drink and will definitely fit a nice sized water bottle. I use the front rectangular pocket for my wallet (which I also ordered from Amazon as part of my Mom's Day Gift) and it just about takes up the whole pocket by itself. My favorite pocket is the hidden "anti theft" pocket, which is really just as wide as my hand but has a decent amount of length. It doesn't go the full length of the purse but is probably close to half that. There really isn't much depth to it but it's definitely big enough for a small, thin wallet (pretty sure those aluminum wallets will fit if it's slipped in at an angle.) It's perfect for my phone (LG G7 THINQ) and still has some room to spare. The straps are the same material as the purse and definitely appear very strong. I honestly love how versatile they are! I can carry it on my shoulder like a regular purse or on both shoulders like a bookbag. (I mostly use the backpack method) All in all, I am beyond satisfied with it! I'd give 15 stars if possible. And definitely pay top dollar too! I could honestly go on and on about this purse ALL DAY! Its 100% my favorite purse! I hardly ever let it out of my site! If you're looking for a simple, yet still cute and stylish purse, GET THIS ONE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! It would definitely make a really good diaper bag too! I have 3 kids and a husband, with my youngest being 4 y/o; and the amount of stuff I'm having to carry around daily is indescribable. I so WISH I had this when they were younger. But since getting this purse, I haven't had to juggle multiple items or make 4 trips back to my SUV or my house because I left something. I put everything we'll need in my bag and it leaves my hands free to lock or unlock my doors, or grab a few bags of groceries without having to take my purse and having both arms full of various things that go inside first on grocery day! Happy with this bag. It seems pretty good quality, zippers all work great, good size, not too big which is what I was looking for but holds a lot. It is a little heavier than I expected but not really an issue. Overall looks great!

Super cute, super soft. I really like my backpack purse. It's roomy, I carry a lot of stuff, & this helped me downsize, which is what I needed. With me hurting my hip, my physical therapist stated to take the weight off my side. The side where I would have my conventional purse. This redistributes the weight. The only issue is the security pocket where you would put your wallet is small. My wallet didn't fit & if it did I would feel a lump on my back. I have other items in the pocket & have to make sure they flatten out when I put the backpack on. So I have a compact, compact brush & a medication holder, along with my inhaler in that pocket. I can get my headphones in the main pocket which I like. I would purchase again. ... show more

My Niece was looking for a black bag to replace one she had that was worn out. We looked at many and picked this one. It is the perfect size, it is well made and it is well thought out for functionality. The pockets and zippers are large enough to put stuff in, you know what I am talking about, we have all had those bags that are cute, but nothing fits anywhere. I ordered this bag in three different brown colors. From left to right it’s brown,tan, and new brown, but the “new brown” that I bought is NOT a UTO bag, even tho I ordered it from this listing. It is a similar bag by Cluchi. I had three things I wanted in a purse bag. 1. acceptable to have at work (like it looked like a purse) I considered it a major bonus’s if it also had a classic look about it as my style is all vintage classic. 2. Water bottle pocket on the outside 3. Can fit my 12 inch iPad or my 13inch laptop, as well as hold a few sketch books. All three of these bags had the same photo to show their color, so I ordered all three to get the brown that would match my things the best. So let’s talk about what I got. I first one that came in was not a UTO bag but a Cluchi bag (which I did not know existed until I was accidentally given one instead of a UTO). There was no smell with this bag, and it was plenty big enough to hold my computer, iPad and sketchbooks. It also held water bottles really well. The fake leather has a crisp and new look about it. I had wanted a slightly more warn look, like the photos, but I did like the brown color. The thing that surprised me with this bag was the nylon backpack straps, and then I realized the brand wasn’t the same. The other two came in shortly after. Here’s the differences. The Cluchi bag is bigger. It has wiggle room for my computer. The UTO bags will hold my computer, but it only just zips over it. I have an old MacBook Pro 13 inch. While both brands are what I expect for $30ish in quality, the Cluchi seems to be better made. It’s lining fits better to the inside of the bag, and is of a nicer fabric. Both UTO bags had a slight smell about them, while the Cluchi had none that I could detect. I have brought my Cluchi to my mom’s house (she will tell me if something smells bad right away) and she thought my bag was cute, and did not complain about the smell. I like the nylon backpack straps on the Cluchi bag better, particularly because the nylon goes from top to bottom and even lines the back of the leather upper parts of the straps. Feels more secure and it’s easier to adjust the straps. I like that the UTO bags do not have a brand name stamped to the front of the bag, while the Cluchi does. While I like the UTO Tan bag for its color and texture the best, I will be going with the Cluchi. It feels stronger and slightly higher in its quality. I don’t really expect it to last me forever, none of them are the high quality that they would need to be for that to happen. But I love it for now. TLDR: get the Cluchi bag like this one.
