  • Best value mount adapter on amazon
Size: 20mm ball head
At the time of this review I found that these are the best value mount adapters available on amazon. The mounts are sturdy and hold to their tightened positions. I bought two 2-packs, and for under $20 in total it was a steal. I use 3 of my mount adapters for webcam lighting at my desk. Once installed I never have had to touch them again. The last adapter I use for my camera. It's done well and I have had no issues since purchase. ... show more

  • works great for 1/4 mounts
Size: 20mm ball head
These seem to do well. I've been using a few for webcams and Elgato lights. So far they've held up well, and feel solid. They're definitely better than the stock mount. No complaints.

  • Quite a value. Ample payload capacity. Very versatile. Well made.
Size: 20mm ball head
I needed a ball head to hold a platform accessory on a mic stand. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something for so limited a purpose. I ordered these based on the reviews. They are much better made than I expected. They are rated for a payload of 5.5 pounds. I’m using it with about a three pound load and it works just fine. In all, these are really handy. The included cold shoes and the ¼-20 female socket make these extremely versatile. In my opinion, these are a great value and I highly recommend them. Jerry ... show more

  • Decent
Size: 20mm ball head
It is sturdy and fairly easy to use. The knob to tight o in place is a little too close and blocked by the top of my tripod. Will be getting a different knob from hardware stores

  • Utebit 24mm pair of Ball Heads. I like 'em.
I bought this pair, not because I needed two, but because I wanted the larger size of these over the single 20mm Ball Head. I also didn't buy these for photography use. I just needed a ballhead on my Monopod. I use a monopod to hold binoculars steady. I wanted the ballhead so I could point the binos toward a higher point, so I could watch birds of prey in the trees around our place. They both work like a charm. Some photographers may purchase these because they come with a hot shoe attachment. Let me tell you: The hot shoe attachment, isn't hot. It is an attachment that will fit into the flash shoe on top of a camera. But it isn't hot. You need to know that. ... show more

  • Beat my expectations! I'm ordering some more to have around the camera bag
Size: 20mm ball head
I took a gamble buying about the cheapest ball head on Amazon but I'm more than satisfied with them. Quality metal construction that feels precision though the thumbwheels and the knob for the ball lock are plastic as is the hot-shoe adapter. I don't see much utility in using a ball head to hold a flash so everything I need out of a ball head is covered more than adequately. I like the fact that it is fairly low profile instead of long and skinny as well. (I know, That's what she said.) Anyway, overall a great buy when purchased at $5 each, I'm ordering a couple of more sets because they're cheap enough to spread around, like reading glasses. One pair for every room. ... show more

  • Yesssssssss
I'm a full time photographer and bought these for my off camera flash light stands for weddings, after going through many different types of brackets. I liked the idea of ball heads before after seeing someone else use expensive manfrotto ones that are $82 each; that's a bit too rich for my blood and I initially tried some cheap smallrig ones that turned out to be terrible. These utebit are way bigger and they actually hold very well, before I was having flashes falling over and the ball head on the small rig ones just wouldn't hold no matter how hard you tried to clamp down. Time will tell how well these hold up, all I need them to do is hold light weight flashes. So far I'm blown away by how strong and sturdy they are in comparison to what I had before. I'll check back in a few months and update this with how well they hold up through the 40+ more weddings I'll put them through this year. ... show more

  • Not what I was looking for in a ball head
Size: 20mm ball head
Works good if your going to keep it stationary. If your wanting it to move but still hold slight pressure this is not it. Hold well just cant move it once its locked or slightly tightened.
