I have webcams and led light fixtures on camera stands. This unit allows for two items off the same stand. Very sturdy and does the trick. Excellent adjustability. I did have to put a washer in between the bracket and the led lights to get a tight mount. Love em.

    • Doesn't work with my Olympus or Sony cameras

It seems to be well made, and good value for money, BUT the thumbscrews are too long. My Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark ii, my OM Systems OM-1, and my Sony RX100 IV all bottom out before they put any pressure on the rubber washer. The length of the screw is about 12.5mm. I have ordered thumbscrews from another source, and hope I can get them to work with this item. Update: The seller has offered me a refund, and asked me to update the review. As I stated initially, the bracket is well made, and represents good value for money. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with any of my cameras because the screws bottom out before they press the plate onto the camera. I assume that there are other cameras, with deeper mounting holes, where the bracket will work just fine. I hope that the seller will include a list of cameras and whether they work with this bracket. ... show more

    • Quality is fine just be aware that the screws are very long.
They were too long for the camera and spotting scope I tried. Adding washers got them to fit.

This is somewhat skinnier and lighter than my previous bar for my two Canon G9X Mark II cameras that I use for 3D photography, which is great. Who needs any extra weight in their camera bag while on a 17-mile hike in the Sierra Mountain range? The bar is also two inches longer than my previous one, giving me more flexibility. It fits easily in my 8-inch wide and 12-inch-tall shoulder bag with the cameras attached. The large screw knobs make it quick and easy to adjust the distance between the two cameras. The distance needs to be changed for each photo that the distance between the cameras and the subject is different than the previous photo. The only issue, and why I knocked off one star for Quality, was that the screws that go into the bottom of the cameras are a bit too long. Causing the cameras to be very loose on the bar. I compensated by removing two of the four screws that came with the bar. I used the rubber washers from the other two screws so that they sandwiched the bar between them, one under the bar, one between the camera and the bar. This allowed me to tighten the cameras securely. My 50 Millimeter Universal Quick Shoe Plate with 1/4-inch screw fit perfectly and securely in the spot provided. ... show more
