Bought this because it said universal. I have a Vizio tv and an older Sony soundbar so I was looking for something that would fit either. It works great and I didn’t have to put more holes in my wall. It will mount to the wall if you need it to.

    • Solid, but not hassle free
We purchased this unit to attach to and hang at the bottom of a TV swing arm wall mount with a large (77") flat panel and a particularly large (width, depth, height are all larger than most) sound bar. The end result looks pretty solid, and we are, by and large happy. Installation was *mostly* straight forward, but was well short of hassle free. A few observations and/or "gotcha" warnings. The two arms that functionally create the shelf for your soundbar are highly adjustable for both hanging height and for depth, but the risers at the front meant to help retain your soundbar are NOT adjustable. For some soundbars, the appearance and fit will be a bit awkward. For example, our soundbar has a rounded front facing, so the two risers do not have anything meaningful to hold onto even thought hey rise high enough to be quite visible. The hanging mechanism fits between your TV mount and the TV, with a crossbar below for the hangers to mount to. You'll want to premeasure the height of your soundbar and how much clearance you want to have from the bottom of the TV, and plan it well in advance. If you need to adjust the height, you'll need to pull down the TV, remove the TV side of the mount, slide your soundbar mount up or down, and then reassemble it all. The top pair of holes generally require the use of a spacer. That spacer is slightly smaller in inside hole diameter than the supplied M6/M8, and has to slip between the TV mount and the TV - getting it all to align and the screw to go through can be a challenge. There is no clear cable routing path. The nature of the beast is that there are bars hanging down and a crossbar between those two, and you can route any required cables (power and TV connectivity) behind those, but there is no cable management - that's all on you. Overall, I doubt this has particularly more hassle to it than most soundbar mounts of this size. That said, there are relatively simple design choices that could make the installation a tad more simple. PS: They supply a allen key/screwdriver combo and a small pressed metal wrench as tools - make sure you have your own handy, as the screwdriver end of things doesn't have sufficient leverage to release the screws if you need to slide the hanging post left/right for centering purposes, and the wrench supplied will make that otherwise simple bit of nut assembly and tightening tedious and frustrating at best - use a socket set if you have one, or at least a real wrench. Bottom line: Would I buy it again? Probably. I would do a bit more looking just to be sure, but this is a very reasonable choice for anyone looking to mount a larger soundbar such that it will hang from the TV. Got a new sound system for Christmas and wanted to attach the sound bar to the TV as the TV moves out from the wall and turns side to side. My son recommended this mount and installed it for me. He found it fairly easy to install, and said he liked this mount better than the one he has. Would recommend! Make sure to take a little extra time to install (and an extra person to help since the TV needs to be taken down to put this on). ... show more

Wall Mount, This particular soundbar mount from USX Mount (XAS002) paired with the USX Mount (XML008-1K-01) is a perfect pairing for a tight, square, plum, and ridgid mount for the two components listed in the title. And likely many other Samsung soundbars, such as the 60C, 990C and so on. I just picked the 910C as its the only Samsung Soundbar that's "packaged" with a Bluetooth surround speaker option that utilizes wired (audio wiring) surround sound speakers. We needed this particular style amp, as long ago I mounted our speakers in the ceiling behind each end of the couch and ran the wires though the attic and down through the wall. We are not a fans of free standing speakers. Plus, you need to run power to each speaker anyway, so you might as well go all in. You will see this amp mounted to the wall using two small bent shelf brackets using drywall inserts. For Soundbar to be tight to the underside of the TV, Two things, When facing the TV and imagining the TV and soundbar already installed you will end up cutting one segment (small hole end of the bracket) off of both sound bar mounts that run vertical behind the TV. This will allow the vertical soundbar mounts to go up far enough that the soundbar nearly touches the bottom of the TV. You can still access the TV switches. If you dont care if the bar is lower, then just leave them as is. It just seems to look better. When attaching the Samsung wall mounts to the soundbar, use two of the 8MM screws supplied with the vesa mount along with two standard washers and two fender washers and push the Samsung mount up as far as possible. The only thing you will utilize from the Samsung mounting brackets is the brackets themselves, you will not use the plastic grooved hanger washers. You will need two 8MM flange nuts, or standard nuts if you can find them, to use on the 8MM vesa screws. Make sure you use the appropriate supplied shim washers to avoid putting stress on the TV housing when tightening the TV, TV mount, and soundbar mounting rails together. These are included with the vesa mount. Also, make sure the soundbar mounting rails are between the TV and the TV vesa mount as shown in the pictures. Note, For those of you wondering what the extra box is in the picture, This is a MOCA system that converts RG-6 coax cable to ethernet. Probably the best way to distribute internet through existing lines when not using a standard router. We only use a MiFi 8800 puck from Verizon with one mesh unit and distribute the signal to multiple houses. No more Spectrum, Cox, ATT. No more raising the price after a month or so. Unlimited 4K steaming for two homes for a steady $65.00/month. This is by far the most sturdy assembly I've found so far. They pair well together for full motion of both the TV and soundbar together. The simplest one yet. I’ve done about 5 bar mounts with different brands and this one was pretty cheap and easy to install. The L bracket extends far too accommodate my weird shap Vizio sound bar. I didn’t screw it down I just used the L brackets as a shelf to let the sound bar just sit there. There’s a lip so it won’t slide. Dope product. ... show more
