I replaced another big-box brand wireless adapter on my preteen daughter’s PC which is as far from my wireless router as physically possible. At about 75ft and through several walls, this one is solid. The one i replaced was hit or miss on the connection and strength varied wildly from 0-4 bars. This replacement works fantastic! Iv had it going for about 2 months now and zero complaints. My kid does all her homework, video calls with her friends, streaming music and videos, absolutely zero lagging. This one is able to connect to my faster 5ghz wireless channel as well as the old 2.4ghz channel. I bought this wireless adapter for my wife's work computer since it did not have a wireless card and her new home office didn't have a LAN drop. Works great! It is connected to our 5Ghz Internet and performs flawlessly with zero issues! Okay one issue, but it may be her USB on her work computer. If the dongle is bumped even slightly it disconnects, but may very well just be her USB port. Slight vibrations don't disconnect it though. Only an issue if bumped. Again, it is not an issue since it's a tower and not moved and I have not tested in another computer to see if it was due to the USB interface or her computer's USB. Works great, no drop off or signal issues. Speed tested well at an average of 80/85Mbps down&up (multiple testing clients,) through two rooms in home network. Quick install as it is just plug and play on the Win11 PC we used it on. Comes with installation guide and a MiniCD, neither of which were needed as it just popped right up & looked for networks once plugged in. Happy too; as our collage student didn't feel the need to build their PC with a CDRom drive. Only issue would be the design as it is large, and with the twin (independent adjustment) antenna might/may pose an issue for a tight area. ... show more

The product arrived super quickly, it was as exactly as described and truthfully a life saver considering my Gaming PC does not have built in Wi-Fi, and it's as simple as taking it out of the box plugging it in and there you go. You have the option to use the CD Drive to install the proper Drivers to maximize you're speed and unlock you're 5G potential and even if you're pc doesn't have a CD Drive no worries as you may simply grab you're old or currently used laptop and USB drive that most of us have lying around and if not there super cheap to where you can then install the Driver onto the USB and then from there install it on your PC (This is again optional but recommended as again gives you your full internet potential) Overall excellent product and most definitely would recommend to anyone, and I myself would buy again if ever needed. ... show more

    • Easy to set up but wasn't fool proof
Ok the end it was easy to set up but seemed daunting as my computer didn't run the program as the directions say they will but was able to find it in my computer and run the program myself. Basically once you install it, it's supposed to popup the next step to then connect to the WiFi but didn't for me but still was able to figure it out with ease not being computer savvy. Insert disc, download, run program and set up to your WiFi! Took me maybe 10 minutes from the time I opened the box to the time I had WiFi and was removing my WiFi cords! Works just as good as can be. Been about a month as I won't make a review without actually knowing if it'll last and am yet to have it drop network ONCE. I've unplugged it and plugged back in and it was able to set up automatically to the WiFi. 9.6/10 * for me ... show more

    • Works fine if connecting to Internet but not between 2 computers on same network with same adapter.
I am on an internet service with 300 Mbps this wireless device did fine and I got the desired speed. Where things went wrong is when I tested between two computers on the same local area network. I set up two computers with both computers using the ElecMoga wireless dongle and the throughput was 60Mbps tops. Using one ElecMoga dongle and an internal Wifi 6 in a laptop and got 110Mbps throughput. If you want to connect to a device on the same network, find something else. ... show more
