    • Great sound and easy to assemble but...
The sound quality is top notch, it doesn't pick up my noisy box fan that is sitting next to me. It attaches to my desk easily and makes streaming so much easier since I can move it however I want depending on if I am using keyboard and mouse or controller. The downside of this and the reason it received 4 stars instead of five is the pop filter. It does not stay where I put it. The clamp holds it securely but the place where the arm of the filter connects to the clamp is too loose so whenever I put it where I want it the filter just falls to the side. I am sure I can find a way to make it work just a word of warning for everyone who needs a pop filter. ... show more

I use this for everything Twitch, YouTube, discord, and all the others but its way too useful for everything its way better than all the other microphones, I definitely recommend buying and using this.

This is an awesome mic! Sound quality is great all my online gaming friends can hear me great, and set up is relatively easy! I (sadly) lost the instructions to build it but it was extremely easy to figure out, and it's very quick to move around as well. I do recommend that you have a solid surface to attach it to, cause you have to have it pretty tight (I especially recommend NOT attach to a glass desk), but otherwise it's practically perfect! My friend is even thinking about getting this same one and I'll make sure to let her know how wonderful it is. ... show more

I can start off by saying that the cost of this and the quality are quite on par with each other. The set up for this product is very useful, and quite durable. The clamp however does eventually start drilling holes into where clamp it, so I suggest placing another piece of wood in between so you don’t damage your desk or table. The microphone itself is quite sensitive, possibly even too sensitive! I tried working on it to dumb down the sensitivity so I didn’t pick up every background noise within a mile, but it was quite difficult. Eventually I gave up and replaced the microphone with another I had with its own volume control on itself I dead of relying on computer software. So the arm itself can switch out microphones, making it adaptable to your needs! Personally, I’ll work with the microphone to see if I can get it to not be so sensitive, but the cost of this product was worth the setup alone! ... show more

    • Excellent Deal for First Mic Setup
I ordered this for my husband's gaming setup. We have always just used our mics on our headsets, but he is now a paid Dungeon Master. It seemed time to upgrade his mic setup, and this setup happened to have a deal before Christmas, as well as good reviews. I was worried that at the lower price point (29.99 then on sale), it would not be a high quality mic, but I was pleasantly surprised. My husband got it all set up quickly and easily straight out of the box, and he has played around with it just speaking regularly, through Discord, with a voice modulator software, with the screen on, without the screen. The noise cancellation is absolutely phenomenal. He was able to crinkle a bag of chips right next to the mic, and it picked up nothing. I can't say anything about whether this mic is good for ASMR. We tried it out with some keyboard sounds and some whisper recordings. Neither of them were particularly good or crisp, but that may have been user error because have no experience in ASMR recording.
