A Budget Mac Mic That Does the Job
This is a capable little mic for the price and that is what earned 5 Stars. At a premium price this would not be my choice. But at this price point it's the one to look at. It has that classic desktop microphone look, though not the heft or build feel of a proper Shure or other higher-end microphone. The construction feels lightweight and more plastic than premium studio gear, so set your expectations there. But plug it into a Mac and it does what it is supposed to do. Setup is easy, the connection is simple, and the sound is pretty decent for meetings, calls, basic recording, voice notes, or starting out with video content. You are not buying a broadcast studio in a box, but you are getting a microphone that is far better than shouting into a laptop from across the desk. The touch mute is useful, especially on Zoom calls where one accidental unmuted moment can age you five years. The red and green status light is simple and clear, and the included USB-C cable plus USB-A adapter make it easy to use with different setups. I also like that the stand is included and the mic angle can be adjusted without making the desk look like a radio station exploded. Must know: this is a value mic, not a heavy pro-grade microphone. If you want a simple Mac-friendly setup for Zoom, online classes, budget vlogging, or everyday voice recording, it does the trick without breaking the bank and may even look impressive for your next Zoom meeting.

Straightforward USB-C mic for basic Mac audio needs
I set this USB-C microphone up on my Mac mini hoping it would give steadier voice input during occasional video meetings and light recording. It connected straight away with no extra software or adapters required. Quality USB-C mic for most computers
I picked this up specifically for my Mac mini and it has turned out to be a very convenient little microphone. The biggest advantage is how small and simple it is, because it takes up almost no desk space and connects directly through USB-C without needing drivers or complicated software. macOS recognized it right away and I was able to select it as the input for dictation, meetings, and voice applications without any hassle. The cardioid pickup pattern does a good job of concentrating on my voice while reducing some of the surrounding room noise, and the microphone is sensitive enough that I don't have to sit directly on top of it or speak unusually loudly. Voice quality is clear and natural for normal computer use, and it is more than adequate for dictation, video calls, and general voice communication. I also like the built-in mute control and indicator because it makes it easy to tell when the microphone is active. This isn't meant to replace a large studio microphone for serious recording, but for a Mac mini or MacBook setup where you just need a compact external mic that works reliably, it is a very practical solution. The small size is actually one of my favorite things about it because it gives me the microphone capability that a Mac mini otherwise doesn't have without adding another bulky piece of equipment to the desk. Overall, it is a simple plug-and-play microphone that does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Easy setup and handy mute control
This microphone was very easy to set up. It really does feel like a simple plug-and-play option for a Mac/Windows PC, and that makes it convenient for everyday use. Great size, design, and sound
The sound quality is pretty decent compared to other brands, especially given its smaller profile. Connecting it is simple, plug and play, is versatile for my other equipment, and takes up barely any room on my desk. It looks good off to the side, or when not in use, and is a great option for Mac mini's. I plan to try my hand at streaming and labs picks it up no problem. 5/5

Don’t Bother, Questionable Quality
This is so bad for the price, I would expect this quality from a $20 microphone, not the $45 this costs. The only “good” thing about it is that the audio is clear, but only from a very specific distance. There is no way to adjust the gain, so if you’re too far away, you’ll be quiet, but if you’re too close you very quickly start sounding tinny or robotic. For this price range, I expect a gain dial. But it technically is capable of picking up decent audio under very specific circumstances, and that is the only reason this isn’t only one star. The rest of the microphone is terrible, toy-like quality. The plastic feels incredibly cheap. It feels like it picks up oils and gets oily really easily and it feels so thin and light that it feels like it will crack easily too. Something in the microphone also rattles around, thankfully it’s used stationary, otherwise I would be concerned about it picking up the rattle noise. But it still worries me of what might be out of place or broken inside it. The wire is awful, I could hear a crackling noise when moving the wire with normal pressure, making me think that it may be breaking from the inside already. And finally, the usb adapter is improperly made; it resists going into the port and you can feel resistance plugging it in. And, when I tried taking it out the first time, it got a little stuck and took extra force to take it out. I wouldn’t plug this in or out regularly out of fear that it is damaging my usb ports. There are plenty of better quality microphones out there in the same price range, this is not worth the price or hassle.

USB Mic f Mac Computer
This mic comes in a usb-c charging type. I like that it has that easy plug and use. No difficulty in set up. I also like that it has noise cancellation and it comes with a mic stand for a hands free use. This microphone is perfect for meetings at home, remote work, remote teaching. It has such a great value for its functionality. Overall I give this microphone a 4/5 for functionality and quality.

Nice Mic!
The Etour USB-C microphone is a really convenient little microphone for a Mac setup.
