I bought this because my work laptop doesn't have enough USB ports for everything that I do on a daily basis. I was always having to disconnect one thing to do something else. With that simple need in mind I figured this would do the job, but it has exceeded my expectations. My Laptop only had 1 HDMI plug so I could only run 1 External monitor. What I didn't count on was that this thing also had an HDMI port on it that allows me to run a 2nd external monitor. I'm just doing productivity work reading emails and keying information into different company websites so I'm not concerned about doing anything graphically intensive. I use this product for my video editing workflow on my iMac. I had been using Windows for a while until I got upgraded by my work and I was not used to how limited the iMac designs are when it comes to plugs and ports and whatnot. I would recommend this product to anyone as it is highly rated, gets the job done and doesn't take up too much space. The only thing I would criticize is the cord length, perhaps they could come up with a way to coil it so it's more stretchable? Who knows, maybe that's a bad idea. ... show more

The cord length gets a bit awkward if you're holding the comp on your knees but otherwise, it's fine on a desk. Everything works perfectly and the material is very sturdy.
