Works exactly for what I needed it for try to keep it in a area where it can get some cool air and can get a bit warm I have two monitors connected and a cable to charge my cell when I need it. I did have issues when I connected my wireless keyboard and mouse it kept on losing connection must be to many things connected at one time, so I have my key board and mouse directly to my lap top. But I don’t regret buying works perfectly for what I needed it for.

I've had this a little over two years now, and it finally died. To be honest, I didn't think it would last this long because it seemed poorly made, it was on the cheaper end of the price spectrum, and I didn't have it in a level spot so it put a lot of strain on the host cable. I used it at least five days a week so I could leave my monitors and peripherals plugged into the unit and switch the host cable back and forth to my work laptop and my personal laptop. I never had any technical issues with it until today when it just stopped working. I would definitely buy this again. I like the small form factor, but I wish the host cable was longer, or even detachable, but that's because of my set up, not the product itself. I'll try to find something better suited to my set up, but if I can't find anything, I get another one of these.

Update again: I took this to the office, but it CANNOT run two displays through it. Neither VGA nor HDMI worked. So I'm taking a star off for failing one of its primary features. Previously, I had difficulty getting *any* displays off this dock to work in Ubuntu 22.04,. I knew that the USB-C port worked for displays (other docks had worked). I have an almost identical HOPDAY dock, and =it= can run =two= displays off this computer. It turned out that the problem of no displays at all was the updated NVIDIA linux drivers combined with Secure Boot. Turning Secure Boot off suddenly brought the external display through this dock to life. Hooray! I can't speak for the other ports/features, as all I really wanted was a third monitor, which this does just fine (as long as the _second_ monitor is connected to the laptop itself directly).

I bought this and it worked well with my work laptop which was a Dell. When I changed jobs, my new work laptop was an HP. Unfortunately it did not work except for 2 USB ports. I couldn't return it since it was past the return date so I took the loss. But in the 5 years I've been shopping on Amazon, I've NEVER seen a seller reach out and reimburse me for their product that I could no longer use. I changed my review to 5 stars because you just don't see business integrity like this anymore. THANK YOU OMARS!!!

Bought this to hook my work laptop up to. I was ecstatic to find one with 2 HDMI and 1 VGA, because I have 2 identical 24.5" ViewSonic monitors, and a 54" TV, with VGA, mounted above the two monitors. I've been using this setup for about a week, now. I have both HDMI monitors and the TV plugged in, along with an ioGears 4 port USB switch, to switch my keyboard, mouse, mic, and webcam between the units. I haven't tested the Ethernet switch, yet. This device has done very well handling the setup and I've yet to experience any video issues. But one thing that causes this device to fail to fully meet my expectations is the fact that my two identical monitors can't seem to reach matching resolution. My primary monitor is able to reach resolutions of 1980x1080. However, the second HDMI port is only allowing a max resolution of 1440x900. This is the best resolution I can obtain, after changing the HDMI cable to rule that out. For a budget device, this is sufficient, but if you you have high expectations, this may not meet them. *UPDATE* Had to knock my review down again, cuz this thing is just becoming too problematic. So somehow, some way, the device began allowing a 1980x1080 resolution on my second ViewSonic monitor I had hooked up, for some time. However, I just experienced a power outage at my home that knocked my electronics out. After getting power returned I noticed an issue with my laptop receiving a charge through the device. Naturally, I rebooted everything and unplugged the device from my laptop, plugged everything back in again. Now, all of a sudden, my left monitor is no longer allowing me to get to a 1980x1080 resolution again. So now I'm back to having to deal with a 1440x900 resolution on my left screen with 19080x1080 on the right screen. The inconsistent configurations that this device seems to constantly go through are becoming entirely too irritating to want to continue dealing with, b/c I can't trust that I'm going to keep even this configuration should I experience another power outage. And with the coming months expected to get even colder than they currently are, that's likely going to be a possibility. So, 1/10 do not recommend. I'll be seeking an alternative. Too bad that I didn't decide soon enough to return this thing. But it is what it is.

I brought this at the end of June. Set up dual 27in monitors plus laptop and it worked fine. It's now the last day of November and the darn thing just stopped working. So, I really thought that it was the hub. I removed the hub and went back to my old set-up and realized that it was my laptops usb-C port. I googled it and the quick fix was shutting down the laptop, unplug all devices and press and hold the power button for 30sec, then turn it back. I plugged everything back in and the hub worked just fine. Turns out it was not the docking station at all.

Overall, it is a decent piece of equipment. The issue that I have is that my monitors have display port connections, so my cables are display port to hdmi. This works well with my docking station in the office, but the hdmi ports on this docking station will not work with these cables - and yes, I have the correct cables, display port on one end and HDMI on the other end. Otherwise, the USB a and USB c, the VGA, the ethernet, and all of the other ports work well. The device is very lightweight. It takes up minimal room in the computer bag, and functions pretty well to charge other devices, etc. I just doesn't work if your monitors are display port - even with the correct cords.
