The mic input only works if you turn the mic gain all the way up in which you start clipping. The cord is weak and constantly makes weird static/beeping sounds which can be heard when you record. Don’t try to use for FL studio because it won’t work. Since you have to turn the gain all the way up in order to use, when you adjust other knobs it makes an eat screeching noise in headphones. DO NOT BUY THIS. Ok it’s been about two years and the problem is you need what’s called a preamp because there isn’t one built in. Once i bought that i was good and it works great, 5 stars

Works perfect for my needs. Phantom power works great with condenser mic and all knobs are sensitive in all the right ways. Simple. Quality materials. Monitor plugs work as expected. Good sound!! Worth the money!

This was not compatible either of with my laptops. It barely worked with my mic, and I could never get a clear sound from it. Almost a year later and it’s still really bad. I don’t know what’s wrong with it. The only time I hear any sound from it is when I move the XLR cord in that port. It sounds all crinkly like you’re opening a bag of chips, but no vocal sounds can be recorded. I’ve tried basically everything.

I bought this mainly as an affordable Hi-Z instrument preamp, and it works well for that purpose. It has a true hi-z setting that sounds good with electric guitar. Someday I will use this for microphones, but I can’t yet comment on the sound quality using mics. The gain dial is touchy, it increases gain very gradually until the end of the knob’s clockwise travel, where the gain jumps very quickly at the end. This shouldn’t be a problem with sources that have decent output, but on a quiet source you might have trouble nailing the best gain setting. It does get a bit noisy at its maximum gain, but I don’t know what circumstances would require its maximum setting.

I picked this up to use at a relatives house to record some tracks and having forgot my usual interface. This did the job as well as my over a hundred dollar interface I use at home for only 40 bucks! Once I selected it in the asio4all control panel and reselected asio in reaper daw, the software recognized it, allowed configuration and recording, easy-peasy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to get into music recording on the PC for cheap. The phantom power worked fine with my tascam condenser mic as well.

I had to replace my Zoom UAC interface because it started having unknown problems with my Presonus Studio DAW not recognizing my interface. Didn't want to get another expensive on in case I had the same problems. But this one does the job, no real complaints. Wanted to wait several months for a review to make sure the thing wouldn't fall apart right away. I recommend it if you need an inexpensive interface for basic purposes. A lot of negative reviews for this item, but I didn't have any drama with it at all.

Going to give the whole truth, this interface is not bad the only issue with it is that the knobs are useless. The only knob that works is the output volume knob. Loop back doesn't work etc just a bunch of useless button. Latency is bad since they don't have any drivers not that great, sound quality is fine haven't had any issues with that. The other knobs kind of work when i have my guitar plugged in i have to play around with the knobs until I start hearing a signal. Overall in the meantime it def did its job and let me record my tracks so i commend it for that. Ill keep it as an emergency backup since ive already upgraded.
