This interface is basically unusable. The gain knob is extremely touchy with almost no usable range. It jumps from silence to clipping in a tiny movement near the far right of the dial, leaving no room for proper adjustment. There’s no smooth control between 0–100%, making it impossible to set clean levels. Poor design and frustrating to use. Avoid.

I bought this mainly as an affordable Hi-Z instrument preamp, and it works well for that purpose. It has a true hi-z setting that sounds good with electric guitar. Someday I will use this for microphones, but I can’t yet comment on the sound quality using mics. The gain dial is touchy, it increases gain very gradually until the end of the knob’s clockwise travel, where the gain jumps very quickly at the end. This shouldn’t be a problem with sources that have decent output, but on a quiet source you might have trouble nailing the best gain setting. It does get a bit noisy at its maximum gain, but I don’t know what circumstances would require its maximum setting.

To start with I'm not very experienced with studio style audio. Always been into home audio and car audio and have wanted to get into studio recording and higher quality audio with my pc. All around though I have been fairly happy with this and not sure I would spend more for the more mainstream interfaces. Here's my goods and bads; Goods: -Sound quality has nothing to complain about, 1:1 audio as far as I'm concerned -Love the combo 1/4 inch and xlr plugs, gives plenty of options for a 2 channel interface -Great design love the basic black and white color scheme -Plugs and dials feel great quality -Love the peak lights and how responsive they are Bads: -Not the most user friendly setup for me with the filtering and loopback features -Gain dials are very touchy and don't leave a lot of room for adjustment as my mic dial is just short of all the way up and any further it peaks and any less there is very little to no signal -May be a computer issue but every now and then there is a popping noise that can be heard out of nowhere Overall this interface is worth the money if you have the patience to set it up correctly and definitely matches the quality of the name brands even though i can't pronounce the name. ;)

I had to replace my Zoom UAC interface because it started having unknown problems with my Presonus Studio DAW not recognizing my interface. Didn't want to get another expensive on in case I had the same problems. But this one does the job, no real complaints. Wanted to wait several months for a review to make sure the thing wouldn't fall apart right away. I recommend it if you need an inexpensive interface for basic purposes. A lot of negative reviews for this item, but I didn't have any drama with it at all.

Got a lot of reports of noise coming from my end when in a voice channel on discord. I couldn't hear anything but the others could. If you're by yourself jamming out, it works and sounds fine. The manual is not useful so I gave up trying to troubleshoot it. For the price, this thing is solidly "fine".

Perfect USB audio interface for those that need an audio input port on a modern iMac. No drivers or software required. It plugs in and immediately shows as a USB audio port. I strongly recommend reading the user manual so that you understand how everything works on the box. You can get much more expensive interfaces but when all you need is something to take an audio signal from a main mixer and convert it to digital for inputting to an online live broadcasting platform, this is the way to go.

Horrible sound, gain knob doesn't properly work, it's either off or full blast, no incremental adjustments are possible. Headphones cut in and out and with way too much static. You can get a clean sound occasionally but then it reverts right back to unusable before you can play 2 min worth of audio.
