I bought the smaller 22 inch version of the two carriers. It’s perfect for my 12lb cat. More room than he really needs. Although this product is a little pricey compared to other pet carriers, in this case I feel you get what you pay for. It is solid and robust. The mechanics of it i.e., the collapse and set-up process is super easy. Also the doors and handle are very well made. My only criticism is with the accessories. I wanted a set of wheels for it, but I also wanted to be able to take them off quickly. You can buy wheels for it. However they are not easily removable like the wheels on the Ferplast carriers, Google, "Ferplast Kit wheels L440" and you'll see what I mean. So I ended up also buying the Acroma Extra Large Folding Luggage Cart to be able to wheel it around. The two products are just about perfect for any situation. ... show more

I am not the type that usually writes reviews. But I had to for this product. There were so many choices on Amazon, that it was hard to tell which one was going to be a good fit for our new kitty cat. I literally felt I was rolling the dice but I am so happy with my purchase. I have had pet carriers in the past that were cumbersome and really hard to carry around...even just moving them downstairs was a nightmare. This product is literally the best pet carrier I have ever seen. It folds easily, it's super lightweight, and is very high quality. Substandard build quality and quality control. The pet crate arrived damaged despite the Amazon box being fine. Mirapet also won’t give you a refund or a replacement without you sending the crate back (photos won’t suffice), and then it takes several days once they get the crate back to get your money back. Good design. Bad plastic and build quality, arrived broken, and bad customer service. 0/10 ... show more

    • No top opening makes for a nightmare
No top opening makes this an absolute nightmare to use, both to get my cats in and out. The tenth time at the vet fighting to get a scared cat out of the carrier when there is no way to get your hands in there and pick them up, you're basically forced to drag them through the small openings on the end. Horrible design. I have to buy a new carrier now. I'm fed up ... show more

Super quick setup yet far sturdier and more compact than the fabric travel kennels. Roughly the same interior dimensions as a non-collapsable kennel, yet with a smaller footprint.

    • Overall a good crate
Appears to be sturdy. I’m a little concerned with the way the door works. Time will tell if the mechanism on the door stands up to use. Overall I like the ease of setting up and taking down the crate and like that it’s all connected together.
