Description

The minimum depth required to mount blind is 1 1/2 inch. The minimum depth required for flush-mounting is 3 inch. Our blinds are crafted with high quality components including high profile steel head rail and quality PVC foam slats. Our blinds resist heat and humidity, and are great for all indoor areas including the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. Installation instructions, a 3 1/4" decorative valance, valance clips, a tilt wand mounting brackets, and screws are included. Valance returns or ending corner valances are NOT included. Mounting screws provided are best for drywall or sheetrock only. They are not for concrete or metal surfaces.

I could not find a window blind in store with the size I want (84" long). The longest the have is 72". Otherwise, it had to be custom ordered which is very expensive. I found these blinds (84" long) at Amazon so I ordered 3 with different sizes. Easy to install, good quality blinds (just installed them) and you can't beat the price. I bought several of these blinds of different sizes. It's interesting that the replacement is the only one that shows up for review. So far the binds seem to work fine. The cords look a bit thin to me, so time will tell how well they hold up. The price was very good for sizes that were very difficult to find. I really only have two issues. One, it was impossible to reach customer support. You couldn't text are call a rep. There was a number listed but all you got was an answering machine telling you to leave a number and they'd call back, they didn't. When I finally did get across that I needed a replacement for a blind that did not arrive, it was resent and arrived quickly (this one). I had to have Amazon customer support help me with this. Of all the choices you have for help none deal with an order that didn't arrive. Second problem is with the rods that allow you to open and close the blinds. You would think that they would be based on the length of the blind. Apparently not. I ordered 9 blinds all the same length but with 3 different widths. The blinds came with 3 different lengths of rods. I guess the person that assembled the binds confused width with length. These were all tall blinds so all longer rods would have been nice. ... show more

I have two windows I needed blinds for, one window was approximately 1” inch wider than the other which was unexpected as I had assumed they were the same size so be sure to measure each window individually. Measurements are very important and they recommend measuring top middle and bottom for good reason as the top can be wider than the bottom, middle etc. and that extra space on each side is needed for wiggle room as you don’t want your blinds getting jammed up (quarter inch on each side or subtract half inch off the total measurement). I happen to disagree with one other reviewer who said the paint looked thin but I know they may have gotten a bad apple and could have been true in their case. The paint looks to be a semi gloss sprayed on paint which would be very adhesive to any surface especially this flexible light wood as paint usually soaks into most soft woods like a sponge, in particularly spray paint as it’s full of chemical solvents. I believe it’s a thick enough layer where it wouldn’t come of with regular cleaning although as that reviewer had recommended I would still be careful as the wood is thin and anyone knows should be handled with care. Unfortunately there is one negative that might be worth half of a star or more depending on the injury if it occurs. The sharp metal edges on the main top piece did cut one of my fingers as I had read another reviewer claim the same happening to them, I did get a couple of drops of blood unfortunately however I think it would be ridiculous to round off thin tin like steel during a manufacturing process or put some type of rubber or plastic barrier around the sharp edge? Not really necessary in my opinion but attention should be payed to it -possibly tape it off or wear gloves before installation if it’s of a concern to you would be my recommendation. With those sharp edges and my little boo-boo I’m still very satisfied with these blinds and highly recommend them as the blinds I got were NOT that much more expensive than the ordinary cheap looking vinyl blinds. Paying approximately $120. total for both the 35”x84” ($62.03) and 34.125”x84” ($52.84). Originally I had wanted a natural wood color but they were sold out and I’m glad they were, the white let’s more light in and makes the room feel more open. Please double check your measurements as I feel that’s what’s most important here and could save you a lot of trouble. Approximately 6 of the slats are just sitting on the bottom which I’m ok with as I don’t think it looks bad and I’d rather it be too long vertically than short as their size options can be inches apart sometimes it’s better to have more than less in that sense. ... show more

Bought seven sets of the 30.5x84 faux wood blind. Installed 5th set, pulled down on both sides to extend, and the strings on both sides broke. Dumped every slat out of the strings. Tried to call manufacturer’s number provided on Amazon, and got a busy signal.

The dimensions are not accurate, the blind tilt bar wont be fitted in the hole and can be broken very easily! The definition of Garbage is this product! Dont even think about that, after rolling the bar, it is broken
