Our blinds are crafted with high quality components including high profile steel head rail and quality PVC foam slats. Mounting hardware and an outside-mount decorative valance with valance returns are also included. Mounting screws provided are best for drywall or sheetrock only. They are not for concrete or metal surfaces.

The install was pretty easy but I have extra parts that are not identified in the instructions. These are 2 clear plastic clips about 1.5 inches. Have no idea where they go. The blind feels sturdy and looks neat and clean. Also, that corner is brighter. It is easy to guide it up and down. I have this blind locked at a bottom stop point so it does not thrash when I open the door. I also don't want my dog to move it and put nose smudges on the glass which was just tinted! However, I can easily release for cleaning or if I want to raise it. It replaces a custom roman shade that had fabric deterioration and crooked cords. So far, we really like it. These blinds are fantastic. I can't believe how sturdy and premium they feel, especially considering the low price. The packaging was great. All of the metal bits have foam or cardboard wrapped around them to protect the blinds during shipping. Then they were packaged up tight so the blinds wouldn't rub and scratch. Installation was very simple. I just held the blinds up to where I wanted to hang them, outlined the brackets with pencil on the door to make sure I put them in the right spot and then pre-drilled holes for the screws since there is somewhat limited space when installing the bracket. The mechanism for raising and lowering the blinds is easy to use as well. These blinds also look really nice. If you need blinds, don't hesitate to buy these. ... show more

My dad installed this for me and took him about 10 minutes. Love the way it looks and functions. There’s a holder for the bottom so that you can keep the bottom part in place and won’t constantly swing or bang against the door which I really like. They’re thicker slats and look great - not like the the thin, cheap looking ones. I will be ordering another one for my front door. ... show more

The Blinds themselves are top notch , great value for the money ! took Me some time to figure out how to install these as the instructions leave much to be desired . For instance , no instructions on how to lower the blinds seeing that their is no cord . Well mystery solved You have to do it by grabbing the bottom and pull or lift to the desired height . Then their is the included screws , or lack thereof, no screws for the bottom bracket hold down . Then their are the 2 square clear plastic , these sit behind the main hold down screws to bring the unit out form flush to the window or door , these are not needed if You want a flush mount , BUT then the included screws are way too long . Thankfully I keep a collection of various screws and had what I needed. Also If Your mounting the blinds on a steel door then the included screw are worthless . Screws are cheep and I would have gladly paid extra buck or to for more screws , thus the 4 star rating ... show more

I measured my doorway and came to conclusion which size I needed. I was nervous about the fit but but it fit perfectly. The blinds are a bit thick, but it is good if you have little kids like I do. I’m also happy that there is not a draw string which can be a risk if you have kids. You just push the blinds up or pull them down. They have a stick on the top where you can open or close them. Since the blinds are thick, they do well with keeping out light. I prefer a lighter look with it being on my front door but as I said, it was a good choice because the blinds are not easily broken like the small light blinds. It looked like it was not too hard to install but I wasn’t the one to install it. I highly recommend if you’re making a choice to get it while you have pets or kids that ruin blinds easily. ... show more

Installation was easy and I really like the top molding that comes with the blind. It gives it a very finished look and looks nice. Unfortunately, the bottom of the blind was not level. The string on one side was much tighter than the other, resulting in the inability to straighten the bottom on the blind regardless of how it was adjusted. To address this, I had to mount the bottom of the blind so it would stay in place. The end of the wand used to open and close the blinds was also cracked, which I repaired with some glue to keep it from falling off and becoming lost. ... show more
