I previously bought a fireproof safe and when it got here the construction of the safe gave a filing cabinet vibe and the bottom weld had popped out like it had been dropped. I spent a little extra and I got this tigerking safe yesterday and already I feel confident to put all my valuables in it. It is heavier than the other one and the locking mechanism seems more beefy on this on.

As of this writing we've owned this safe for approximately 6 months ago after moving into a new home. It was purchased primarily to store sensitive documents and small valuables. We also keep small firearms and ammunition inside. Although it isn't really designed to hold long guns we are able to set a shotgun safely inside. The white exterior is very nice and fits with the rest of our decor very well. The safe is on wheels so it could be easily moved - which could also make it easy for a thief to roll it out of your living space. The safe requires EITHER you use a master key and a keypad combination -OR- a master key and an 'emergency' key. The emergency key bypasses the keypad. In either case it is required to use at least the master key. So that key has to remain available somewhere handy for ease of access. Additionally, in the event the keypad fails for some reason you will need to have the emergency key available. That means that access to your safe is dependent upon how well you hide these keys. Since our estate-related documents are in this safe and we need to allow access to our safe to others in case of our demise, we needed to have copies of both the master and emergency keys made so that our executors would have them. Tiger King made it very easy for us to get those extra copies and at a very modest cost as well. We've had absolutely no problem with the safe in the 6 months we've been using it and would gladly purchase it again.

Am very pleased by purchasing this safe.It met my expectations when I got it delivered.After opening the package I was in awe of the size.The size is right,just in case any thief breaks into your house and removes the safe it will be very hard for the size and weight without looking suspicious to witnesses.The metal is very strong for protection and it feels very secure.I trust this safe to put my valuables with so many added security features like the alarm and wall mount.I fully endorse anyone who wants to purchase a safe to buy this one!One of the best purchases I have made.

This one is a pretty perfect size to house cash, documents, collectibles, precious metals, jewelry, etc. It's a good safe. I like the separate cash box with its own key. It seems secure. I don't plan on testing its security anytime soon. Like anything, if someone wants what I have bad enough, they will get it. Overall, the safe looks good. You could have it out in the open, fitting any decor. Final thought. It's not the most expensive safe you can buy, but I can't imagine what those have that this doesn't

I saw a lot of good reviews on this safe and it left me scratching my head. The only thing positive thing said about this safe that I agreed with was that is is a good looking safe. Problem is looks don't mean a thing if you can't open it. I lugged this thing from my garage into the office, got it out of the box, and proceeded to read the instructions. It listed two ways to open the safe, and I chose what seemed to be the easiest - using the safety key. I saw the videos showing how you flip the cover open and insert the key. Seems pretty straight forward, but the cover wouldn't flip open, nor would it slide open. I couldn't even pry it open. That option being out, I opted for the second way to open it using the external battery pack. I loaded it with new Duracell batteries, but the copper top was no match for this safe. It would not so much as light up - it did nothing. I checked the batteries - all tested full. As a final attempt I called my wife in and asked her to read the instructions and open the safe. The result for her was the same as mine. Nothing worked. I went to the support web site listed in the manual, and found myself looking at the company proudly showing their location in China with phone numbers in China. I didn't even want to imagine how that would work, so I went to the order on Amazon and clicked on return. Amazon made it easy to return with a pick up by UPS the next day - thank you Amazon you saved me. People claim to have had good luck with this safe, but to be safe I have ordered a Sentry not wishing to repeat my experience with Tigerking. P.S. All my ratings were one star because I don't know if it's easy to lock if I can't get it open, security features are no good if you can't get into the safe, and finally, it didn't appear particularly sturdy from the outside.

Nice safe, good price considering , fireproof , not too big nor so small just the right size . Easy to open( but not for a crook) and built very well to keep all your little secrets in . Waterproof if the great flood hits, does not come with paddles !! Great buy, everyone should have one especially if you own guns( you know those things that go BOOM !!
