I'm quite happy with my purchase. The bronze color is handsome, and the buttons and hardware are a rose gold color. It blends in to the decor without being either unsightly or obtrusive. First, this is an astonishing classy looking safe. If you're not having visions of Tony Montana while you're using it there's something wrong with you. A short Google search will produce the surprising result that this company, tiger King, is actually a huge safe manufacturing company in China that also makes the large Kodiak safes for rhino metals and several other companies. Some reviews say that the metal walls are thin, I don't see that. They are not half inch thick armor plate of course you don't get that for this price but it's going to take some reasonable effort to get through this. The pros: solid construction thick metal door, solid walls, smooth opening and flawless functioning for over the year I've owned it. Keypad alarm works when you have the wrong code entered too often or atempt to move the safe when unauthorized. Cons: nothing short of some cosmetic items well within the reason at this price. The liner is a little roughly put in. Although it does look pretty stylish. The upper internal lock box is protected by a thin plastic door I'm not really sure why they even bother to having a lock on it I think you can pop it out with a spoon. I've debated welding something on instead. But that suddenly sounded like effort. The safe door needed to be adjusted slightly up it was rubbing gently on the base. Two screws fix it really quickly Overall it's an exceptionally a good safe for the price. I wish they made one in a full size stand up in this color. This safe is nice. It’s very spacious for its size. It pretty solid. It’s won’t stop someone from getting in it but it will definitely slow them down from breaking into it for sure! My only concern is the safe door handle that opens safe door. Seems really cheap and if broken idk if it will be easy to get in safe. Other than that I do like the safe but gets 4 stars for handle. ... show more

    • This safe is so nice.
This is the 10th Tigerking safe model I have bought this year for the purpose of reviewing, and I must say, Tigerking did not disappoint. As a person who has purchased over 100 safes, spanning a decade, I know my safes. I grade safes on 4 points. Security, functionality, value and aesthetics. No need to spend a lot of time on aesthetics. This is a really good looking safe. As far as functionality is cocerned, this electronic safe is so easy to set up and use. Follow the instructions, and you should be up and running in 10 minutes. Last but not least, the security ofthe safe is solid. This safe won't be easy to compromise. It can also be bolted down to the wall and floor. The thing I like most is that it has a built in safe deposit box. Tigerking is excellent about adding extra compartments to their safes, which is excellent for multiple access. A key and combination are both required to unlock this safe, and the locking compartment inside has its own key. Last but not least, I want to speak on the value of this safe. Bolt this down, and you have yourself a home safe deposit box. Just a few years of the cost of renting a safe deposit box at your local bank, and you can own this safe. This safe is an excellent value, exhibiting exellent quality and functionality and aesthetically pleasing. I rate this safe 5 out of 5 stars. ... show more

This is a sturdy, well made little safe. Best price by far for a safe of this style and size! It is NOT fire safe or water proof. But The manufacturer does not claim that it is fireproof waterproof. So anyone who complains about that is just stupid. You can buy A fire proof safe this size for $1200, or you can buy the safe for $350, and then buy a fireproof document box for $50 to put inside this safe and save yourself $800! Here’s my problem with this safe. And to me it’s a pretty big deal. You buy an electronic digital keypad safe because you don’t want to have to mess with keys. But this safe requires you to have the master key in the safe anytime that you want to use it! To me, that completely wiped out the whole reason for having a digital safe! They don’t mention this anywhere in the instructions are on their videos. I programmed the safe exactly how the instructions stated, and the safe still wouldn’t work. So I actually took the inner door panel off and looked inside, and could immediately see that unless the master key is inserted and turned, The safe door will not open with the electronic keypad! This leaves the owner with two choices. They either need to carry the key around with them all the time, or they need to leave the key stuck in the safe all the time, which leaves it there for anyone who wants to grab the master key to the safe!! I have no idea why they designed the safe this way! The master key only comes out of the lock when it is in the locked position. They could’ve made it so the key would come out in either the open or locked position, which would allow the owner to use the safe without the key installed. But they could still lock the safe with the master key and take it with them if they wanted. Personally, I’m probably either going to take the locking lever off the inside of the door so I don’t need to use the master key, or I’ll buy a replacement key lock that allows me to take the key out in the unlocked position. Any expert will tell you that if a safe isn’t easy to use and in a place that’s easy to access, people won’t use it. I know that if we have to use a key with this safe all the time We won’t use it. Hopefully, Tiger King will read this review and make this simple change to their safes! ... show more
