As a wedding videographer, I used these thigh straps for a bride on her wedding day and they worked exactly as needed. They are truly low profile and completely invisible under her dress, which is essential for clean footage and a polished look. Used this URSA thigh strap for a wedding after wearing it myself for about a week with the DR-10 Pro to test comfort. It was easy to forget I even had it on, and it never slipped once. On the wedding day, I walked the maid of honor through how to put it on the bride, and everything worked perfectly. The bride was initially worried it might fall off, but she completely forgot she was wearing it—danced, posed for photos, no issues at all. Pros: Extremely comfortable Doesn’t slip or shift Simple enough for someone else to apply without confusion Cons: Pouch is very tight No clear window to view the screen, which makes it hard to confirm the recorder is rolling once inside I run redundant mics, so I wasn’t stressed, but if this were my only recorder, not seeing the LCD could be a concern. Overall, rock solid performance.

Back when I was starting out we had to order these custom of various manufacturers. Those days are over and Amazon has them for fast delivery now. Would be 5 stars but the size of the actual mic holder is tiny and very tight! I can’t even fit a Rode Mic pro in it hardly let alone a Tascam or anything bigger. But these do the job!

I used it for my asian female actor for a scene where she wore a tight black dress and walking around the set. It sticked for HOURS!!!! She didnt complained about it slipping down at all. However, the pocket was too small for sennheiser LAV. I managed to force it to fit tho, lol.
