  • Game changer while working
Style: without incline
My office finally approved for us to bring in a walking pad to the office to utlize with our standing desks. I did a fair bit of research and finally landed on the Urevo 2.5 HP Treadmill. I have been using it for several weeks now and I am quite pleased with my purchase. I spend 4 days/week walking for up to 4 hours a day and I am more productive and have more energy while working. PROs: 1. It is a quiet machine, not silent :) There is a slight whooshing sound with each step, but it is nothing too distracting and does not detract from working. I have been on several work calls while using and the sound is not noticiable at all. And if it is too loud, just walk slower! 2. It doesn't automatically turn off when you step off. This may be a con for some, but if I have to step off to go to the printer, I like that I don't disrupt the office with a bunch of beeps. 3. I like that it came with the track oil. The instructions were helpful in learning how to apply it. 4. Wide and long track pad. Some follks in my office purchased narrower ones and I have heard them express that they wished they had a bigger area to walk on. CONS: 1. Mobility - This is a HEAVY unit. Yes, there are wheels on it, but they don't help a lot. Don't imagine that you can easily slide it in and out from underneath something ESPECIALLY horizontally. Additionally, while the handle folds down, the unit base does not, so it takes up space for storage purposes. 2. Adjusting the track pad - it was a bit nerve wracking figuring out the sweet spot with adjusting the track pad. I am glad they provided the hex key, but it took several turns to get it to the right spot. 3. Applying the track oil. It would be nice if they provided a brush that can reach all the way to the middle of the pad, so that there is an even amount across the bottom. 4. Remote/ Noise - You cannot silence the beeping. It would be great if there was a mute button on the remote or a way to deactivate the beeping that comes with each button push. I understand a beep happening with the machine is turned off and on, but with each speed change...come on. ... show more

  • WFH ADD assistant and Step Saver
Style: without incline
I work from home and before I got this, I barely hit 6k steps a day. I've had this for a couple months and at first I would slide it under my desk and then put it up against the wall now I just leave it under my desk and use it throughout the day even when I am gaming. An added benefit to this is it actually helps with my ADD and helps me stay focused longer. Some Notes: - Does NOT get hot. I have used it for as long as an hour at 1 time and felt the belt, motor area, and around the device and felt no heat. - It can go faster than you think but only when the control bar is up. - if using in treadmill mode (bar up) absolutely use the safety clip! - When using it under a desk make sure it's pulled out far enough or you will be walking off the back of it . This one might not be ideal for taller people (I'm 5'4"). I believe they have other models that are a bit longer. - Check the belt alignment often. I didn't know it could get misaligned until I had a small issue and realized there was a huge gap on one side. Running the device with nothing on it for a couple minutes will realign the belt. But there are also tightening points if needed. - Check under the belt for lubricant. They provide 20ml but if you use the pad a lot you'll probably wanna get more. - Wear running or walking shoes. I was stupid and just wore my house slippers and then couldn't figure out why my knee was hurting...switched to running shoes and knee no longer hurts. - The control bar is a bit tricky to get up at first but after you do it a couple times you'll have no problems with it The only issue I have had with it so far is a knocking sound that started the other day. I pulled out the manual and discovered that: 1. Belt was misaligned 2. All the lubricant had dried up After following the steps for realigning and lubricating all seems good. Things I wish it had: 1. A better indicator of where the front wheels are. As a shorter person I have to tilt it pretty far before I can tell it's on the wheels and this results in scraping the floor a little. 2. A cover. Leaning it against the wall can scratch the wall and leave marks. It also collects pet hair and dust so a protective cover would be nice. 3. A pause button. It only stops and starts so if I have to get off for a second I have to completely stop it, then start it again and re adjust the speed. Would be nice to have it keep the last setting and just restart to that. 4. Cumulative distance tracking not just current run time. Otherwise so far this is a great little under desk walking pad/treadmill with a good price. ... show more

  • Don't Forget To Use Safety Key
Style: with incline
I just received this Urevo treadmill yesterday and, despite careful reading of the (extremely POORLY written) user manual, I could not get it to operate with the upright portion and side handrails locked in their required position (which is necessary for a speed greater than 4mph). The treadmill & remote worked perfectly with the upright portion collapsed (below 4mph). I was about to return it to Amazon when I decided to try installing the "Safety Key" with the upright section in position. The Urevo then worked perfectly. Nowhere in the User Manual is the requirement for placement of the Safety Key mentioned, so be advised! Otherwise, the treadmill seems quiet and the readouts well illuminated, both on the base and upright. I'll post again if any issues arise. ... show more

  • Nice treadmill for the price
Style: without incline
Nice treadmill that promises to offer me a workout on the colder months when I’m stuck behind my desk and can’t get out of the house to get moving. The treadmill has a natural 1.0 incline out of the box. Setup was quick and easy, and it’s quieter than expected. This is a heavy piece of equipment, and at 5’1” and without much upper body strength, I’m going to need to start lifting weights to hoist this from my desk and lean it against my wall whwn not in use. Also with that the wheels pivoted in 360 so I can move in any direction and not forwards and back. Makes moving this piece challenging. I don’t have the luxury right now of keeping it in on stationary location and it needs to be out of the way when not in use. I’ll update later on it’s reliability and smoothness when I’ve had it longer. ... show more
