this has been great, the color is a nice and soft green, which flows rather well with my living room color palette. I don't use this for cereal, but rather snacks that I keep in the living room cabinet for easy access. I have had an open packet of Reeces in there for about a week. Normally I will only eat one of the cups and leave the other to be eaten later - and usually thrown out because it get stale - but I was able to enjoy that second cup because the airtight seal on this container kept it fresh. This will keep me from wasting a lot of snack since I don't eat them regularly and they usually end up going stale. And the color is so soft and pretty that if it gets left out of the cabinet I'm not mad about it. I might end up ordering another for chips and maybe one more to store some of my teas in it.

I love the pretty green color. The only thing is, I am not sure what to use this for. It's too tall for my counter top or inside my cabinets. Maybe spaghetti? It's a bit awkward to open, you need both hands, and the first time I tried I dropped it on the floor. Luckily, it is pretty sturdy plastic, so it did not break. It's Okay. Just make sure you measure, and you know what you need it for. I ordered it thinking I would use it for oatmeal or rice, and if I liked it I would order more matching pieces. But I don't think it's going to work for me for the reasons stated. Overall, a beautiful item if it fits for your particular need.

This is a good sized container that with fit long pasta, plenty of sugar, flour or cereal. It is airtight to keep your food fresh. The lid is leakproof. The lid has an easy release lever that lifts to release the seal. The container is not only functional but attactive as well. It measures 11" tall without the lid and 12" with the lid. I use this container for my meal replacement powder that comes in a 32 ounce bag. The photo shows how 1 bag fills only half way.

The container works well and holds a lot. Great suction so whatever you are storing stays fresh. I only wish there were a variety of sizes. At the time this was available this was the only size offered.

I'm not sure if I got a used item or if the lid got scuffed from being knocked around during travel. The lid has scuff marks on it, but the container itself didn't. I'm hoping the scuff marks on the lid are from being knocked around the box it came in during travel and that it's not used. It does come in a nice cardboard box. This container is VERY tall. Make sure you measure the height of your cabinets before ordering. This was too tall for all my cabinets, so I have to keep it on my countertop which is not ideal. That's my bad for not measuring my cabinets first. It does seem to be airtight which is what I need to to keep flour in. Not sure how to tell if its really airtight

i have been looking for something to store my bathroom wipes in, and i stumbled upon this somehow. i know it's for food but i'm definitely not using it for that. i have a black/green/gold/white bathroom and this color is perfect for that. the width and depth are perfect for normal bathroom wipes for the back of the toilet tank, and the air-tight lid has not allowed anything to dry out. so this was a very lucky find! I'm sure it would keep food from going stale, though I'm not sure what food you'd store in this b/c it's a little short for most food storage, i would think. but for bathroom wipes, it's A-OK in my book.
