I don’t know when sheets you can see daylight through started being called 800 thread count??? These are sateen feeling, thin with a tiny elastic band. I have 800 thread count sheets purchase in 2017 from Abby Home they are thick and comfy as the day I bought them. Good elastic, no fading and deep pockets. Not worth the price. After many mistakes and returns, I finally set out to find the ideal sheets I have been looking for. I bought these sheets about 9 years ago but couldn't remember which ones. I have tried for the last 2 years to find the worlds most comfortable and decadent sheets that I had on my bed. I finally found them!!! So I purchased 1 set. These sheets are HEAVY cotton. All cotton; non of that microfiber. They are almost canvas-like. They soften with each wash. My other set has lasted over 9 years, but the pillow cases are worn. It is my fault, because I like a little bleach in the sheets when they are washed. I will probably buy 2 more sets in the near future, to stockpile them. I have tried so many (supposed) 1200 count Egyptian cotton sheets and they are thin and I don't like them. I guess my only choice is to hoard these! ... show more

Very happy with these sheets. I normally buy name brand, high thread count (600+) cotton sheets from Tjmaxx or Marshalls. I can usually find king size there for about $40-50, but colors are pretty boring. This time I wanted quality, with a beautiful dark color, and I'm so happy with this purchase. These sheets are sturdier than the Calvin Klein sheets, a thicker and softer fabric, yet breathe and I don't get hot (I like my bedroom very cold for sleep). Though "sateen" they are not slippery or shiny, and seem like regular style sheets. It's clear they will get softer and softer with time. They are not scratchy. They are not thin. Perfect sheets and a reasonable price! I will buy another set in Navy, Purple, or Black. ... show more

I actually wanted to touch and feel sheets before buying, but every sheet I examined in the stores was not the feel I was looking for. I wanted the hefty but soft and expensive feel of good hotel sheets. These are it . They have a soft cottony feel (looked into linen and other fabric....not what I wanted) and have washed up even softer and have maintained their brightness. I took a chance and the price was more than competitive with other higher priced and lower quality. I love these sheets and I will be buying some more pillow cases as this item gets washed more often and I always want this great feel of soft cotton on my pillow. The vendor was accurate in their description and I took a chance sight unseen. Very happy with these sheets. The fabric is very soft. Very nice feeling to the touch. Very high threads density. But the thread are very thin. Almost transparent. Actually, you can see the mattress’ drawings though the sheet. And the overall quality is really bad. It is very cheaply manufactured.

They were lovely in the package, but I prefer to watch sheets before using or evaluating them. While they were not as smooth coming out of the dryer, they were nevertheless soft and light weight. I had hoped that the top sheet would be a little wider, having more coverage in the part that hangs over the side of the bed, but it is adequate. The pillowcases fit our standard pillows nicely - not too snug. We slept on them last night for the first time, and I was very satisfied with the feel of the sheets. I have always wanted nice sheets for my bed. I mean you spend a 3rd of your day there. I wanted something soft yet breathable. My husband and I tend to run on the warmer side. This sheets help keep us cool and comfortable. I don't wake up feeling like I have been sweating all night even though the room temperature could be at 68 degrees. If you don't pull them out of the dryer right away they will wrinkle but that is going to happen when you aren't on top of laundry. The fitted sheet has not once slipped of the mattress and we both toss and turn a lot or maybe it's because we are no longer getting overheated. Either way I am really happy with these sheets. I have been needing some sheets for a little while and thought I would treat myself. The color is beautiful, they’re comfortable and cool, I have a very thick mattress, and the fitted sheet fits with one left over. I did take a few stars off for “wrinkle free” because I washed them prior to putting them on my bed and they did get wrinkled. I don’t mind; however it may be a factor for those who do.
