My bedroom colors are a darker teal, and these go perfectly with my curtains and bedspread. Although they are not made of cotton, they are polyester. I feel they are just as soft as expensive Egyptian cotton sheets. The elastic that normally goes around the corners of the fitted sheet goes ALL the way around the sheets, giving a nice snug fit. I love that feature. There is attractive stitching and pleating at the top of the sheets and on the ends of the pillowcases, making them look more expensive than they are.
