[Jan 2025 - My unbiased review of Urban Decay's 'Face Bond Luminizer'. Water-Resistant All-Over Liquid Highlighter + Bronzer, Face, Eye, and Body Glow Makeup, with 3% Niacinamide, Smudge-Resistant, Transfer-Resistant - 1 fl oz"] The variant I chose was the 'Mirror Ball' luminzer and it's definitely shimmery enough for any Disco Queen (or King, I suppose). It contains lots of microscopically small, pale pinkish glitter, which I would say is too much for the average person to wear as a top layer during the daytime. However, if you mix a tiny amount into moisturizer or foundation it catches the light occasionally and is very pretty. Luckily the squeezable plastic bottle, plus the tiny tip makes dispensing as much or as little as you want very easy. I think teens and twenties might get away with wearing this on a daily basis, but for the rest of us, it's great for fun events, parties, clubbing, etc. It adds a pinkish shimmer to any areas you want to highlight, like cheek & brow bones, collarbones & shoulders, etc. I'm not outgoing enough to wear it on top of makeup, but I wore it for several Christmas/New Year parties under foundation and setting powder so it was very subtle. Be sure you follow their instructions to SHAKE WELL before using it each time to distribute all the ingredients evenly. Also ... The bottle I have is pretty hard to open. You have to firmly twist off the translucent yellow top section while holding the opaque yellow section of the bottle (see photo). If you have any hand weakness or dexterity issues this product might not be the best option, though my bottle might have a particularly stiff top. By the way... This is my first Urban Decay product and I wasn't paying enough attention so the first time I tried to open this bottle I stupidly twisted the opaque yellow section off the lower bottle instead ... Avoid doing that - it's a little messy. Luckily it pushed back on properly and I learned my lesson. ... show more
