I love this product so much that I’ve reordered it multiple times. My shade is TAUPE TRAP, a neutral shade that matches my dark blonde eyebrows very well. There are two ends, one with a classic brow pencil and another with a fine, ink pen that perfectly draws on individual hair strokes. I’m an avid swimmer and this brow pencil/pen really is waterproof and smudgeproof. My only complaint is the price; at $28 each, it’s certainly not cheap. However each pencil/pen lasts me for at least a year, it offers two products for the price of one, and in my opinion, the quality is well worth the expense.

I love this product and have bought “Taupe Trap” as well as “Neutral Nana”. I have also tried my sister’s “cool cookie”. I love the thin pencils side! I love using taupe trap then adding some neutral nana in areas for depth. It makes my brows look naturally full. I love adding hair strokes to certain areas where I’m missing hair to make it match my other brow. I regularly get asked if my brows are microbladed. I wouldn’t say it’s waterproof exactly but def very water resistant. But that’s a good thing because the texture remains smooth all day and when I wash my face it comes off pretty easy, which I like! The thing is if you use the felt tip pen to draw flicks of hair then you attempt to wipe it off with a cutip without using make up remover it leaves a green hue. So could it be waterproof? Maybe...but your brows might turn green if you wipe your brows or if you get too much moisture on them so I wouldn’t use the felt tip for a day at the gym, pool, or beach. I’d stick to the pencil for that day. But the pencil does hold up very well! If you use just the pencil and you get water on your face your brows would probably still be there but you would have to be careful not to wipe them. Just dab. Just Don’t use the felt tip side for days where you will be sweating a lot because of the green hue effect. To be fair Me and my sister are both very pale so this might not be as noticeable on someone darker. But really a pretty great product all around. The green effect wasn’t a deterrent to me getting it again because it’s easy to fix and not super noticeable. I’ve liked it enough to buy it multiple times. I go to school for brow tattoos and even my classmates have asked me if they were microbladed. I like that I’m able to get subtle detail to correct my brows. I do think it works best to mainly use the pencil side and use the felt tip side sparingly to add depth and subtle balance where you only need a hair or two here or there. When I shaved my brows it helped add some depth to add strokes along the whole brow. It works but it gets a bit too dark and fake looking if you add too many strokes is my point. Doing the strokes sparingly seems to give the most realistic effect.

I’m a no makeup person and what’s most important to me is looking as natural as possible when I do wear makeup. I’ve tried a dozen or so eyebrow makeup tools (which granted is not a lot) but never kept a single one of them until now. The pencil portion is average and works like any other pencil I’ve tried. It’s the ink stain that is magic. It goes on so easily and softly. The color is subtle and not orangey fake. It does manage to retain the look of strokes somewhat and its color does not pool up around the root of each eyebrow hair. Is it perfect? No. Is it close? I think so! I uploaded a pic with no makeup besides the urban decay eyebrow makeup. Note that my eyebrows are *super asymmetrical* and the ink stain did a good job of balancing things out.

I have had problems with finding the right eyebrow pencil for me for quite some time as I have very little eyebrow hairs. A couple I have tried did ok but would leave residue from the pencil or brush that was a pain because I would have to use a brow brush to remove it. What I wanted was one that would cover well & not wipe of easily. This one is it. I love it. It goes on easily & doesn't come off easily. The end to use to cover more is thin but works well to get the coverage I want. It also it has another brush on the other end that is to be used to make hair like coverage. I don't use that end as I don't need it. I ordered the color "Whiskey" which is brown, it is more medium color. It can go darker with more coverage, though.

I've been using the brow blade for several years, and purchased a variety of shades as my hair color has changed. Absolutely love this product. Application is so easy and the two different sides provide you with options for ease of use. It's a bit more expensive than some other brow products on the market. But in my opinion, definitely worth the money!
