  • Smooth, Precise Liner That Really Lasts
Color: Melted Onyx (deep matte black)
I decided to try this Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Stick Eyeliner for several reasons. First, it’s made by Urban Decay. I’ve used several of their eye products and have been very happy with them. It also checks most of the boxes I look for in an eyeliner: waterproof, smudge-resistant, and includes a blending tool, in this case a brush. I was a little concerned about the “liquid” part of the name since I haven’t had great experiences with liquid eyeliners, but this one was a pleasant surprise. The liner tip is angled and super thin, which makes it easy to draw a precise, fine line. You could also build it up for a thicker look, but thin is what I prefer. It’s not really a liquid at all. It applies more like a stick with a very soft, smooth consistency, which makes application so easy! The brush is soft but firm enough to soften and blend the line. Just be sure to blend quickly before it sets, because once it dries, it really stays put all day. That was a big plus for me. The shade I received is Melted Onyx, described as a deep matte black. Extra points for the matte finish, since I don’t like shiny liner. I do like the color, especially after blending, but I wish there was a charcoal option, as pure black can look a bit harsh on my fair skin. At $26, it’s a little pricey for my taste, but that’s in line with other Urban Decay products. If you don’t mind paying for higher-end cosmetics, this is an eyeliner I would definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Love it. Love the angle. Don't open it up to much, it will break off EASILY
Color: Dirty Martini (metallic olive)
Goes on smoothly and easily. Bonus, but it also breaks easily. So don't push it out of the container too far. You should wait about a minute before opening your eye if you put it on your upper lash line or lid. It takes that long to set or dry. It goes on smoothly, it's beautiful and it does last. I highly recommend using the UD shadow primer. It helps the liner to go on smoother, dryer and prevents it from going on upper brow when eyes open too soon after application. ... show more

  • Nice thin liner with good staying power.
Color: Ruby Drip (metallic raspberry)
I ordered the Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Stick Eyeliner in Ruby Drip to switch things up for New Year's Eve. I'm a big fan of their eye products and they've always performed well for me. I’ve usually gravitated towards the darker or black liners, but thought I could give some color a chance. I took the Ruby Drip color for a test the other day and liked several things about it. The tip is super thin and angled, which makes it really easy to draw thin lines for the eyes. I even tried using the ruby shade on my lips for a bit of sparkle as a lip liner (just lined them lightly and blended with my usual lip color), and I absolutely loved the fun, multidimensional look. Being able to use it in multiple ways is such a convenient bonus! It comes with a fluffy brush on the other side, perfect for blending out to create a softer, smokey shadow effect. This liner sets pretty quickly, so you have to blend fast, or it'll lock in place. I got a good days wear out of it and felt throughout the day it held up well. However, it didn't quite hold up into the evening without a quick touch-up. At 26 dollars at the time I ordered, it's on the pricey side for how tiny it is, but the quality and versatility make it worth considering if you're looking for a nice high end eye liner with solid staying power. ... show more

  • Urban Decay is from L'Oreal
Color: Solar Flick (duochrome copper)
I may be one of the few who don't know the Urban Decay brand, but I do know L'Oreal well and now know that Urban Decay is an American subsidiary of L'Oreal. So, this 24/7 Liquid Stick Waterproof Eyeliner is my first experience with Urban Decay. The eyeliner is a relatively simple product to start with and I like it quite a bit. The eyeliner is not what I consider a traditional eyeliner. I use a black liquid eyeliner on my lower eyelid. This is more of a cross between and eyeliner and eyeshadow. I'm happy about that because it isn't black and wouldn't do a good job replacing what I use, but it's a nice addition. The product feels creamy when you apply it. The listing says it's a gel, though I would have guessed from the format which is a retractable pencil though flat and cut on an angle, that it was some kind of cream, almost like lipstick in consistency. The eyeliner is on one end and there's a nice small brush on the other for blending. The color is a called Solar Flick which in laymen's terms is copper. It's actually a lovely color and it works well on me. I recently found "setting spray" which is meant to help keep makeup looking fresh. Even better than using a setting spray, is using makeup that lasts. This eyeliner is described as "Smudge-Proof, Transfer-Proof, Up to 24HR Wear" which is exactly what I want in my cosmetics. ... show more
