Description

Baffle box construction creates evenly-sized chambers that allow fill to loft naturally without shifting or clumping. The cover is made of 250 thread count 100 percent cotton percale for a soft, breathable surface. Periodically fluff by hand or place in the dryer on low to increase the amount of air trapped within the down alternative, improving the loft and comfort. Topper features piped edges and an ultra-thick elastic strap on each corner to secure it to the mattress. For convenience, fiber bed topper can be machine washed and dried.

This is very soft and feels very good. We have had it about a month now and it does show where you have been sleeping. It will puff back up a little before the next time you sleep and it does continue to make the bed softer. I would recommend this to anyone looking to make their bed a little softer.

A couple of years ago I ordered a Full size down alternative fiber bed topper through Amazon. It came in a beautiful zippered plastic bag with a handle. It made folding it up and storing it very simple since I use it on my guest convertible couch. I just received the same in a Queen. It came in a thick plastic bag that had the air sucked out of it and I had to cut it open. Now if I need to store this topper it will be a nightmare! I think that for an item that cost close to $100.00 it should have included a proper storage bag as on my previous purchase. I’m disappointed! ... show more

UPDATE: 02/09/23 This mattress topper doesn’t disappoint! I haven’t had to fluff it much. Maybe once a month. It does not overheat me - meaning it doesn’t run hot. I hardly notice it’s even on the bed, and it doesn’t compromise the extra firmness of my mattress. It’s almost as though it’s apart of the mattress itself Eventually I’ll order another for my guest room. ———————————————————————- I have an extra firm Heirloom mattress that is perfect for my Lupus but it’s missing that soft cushy feeling of a plush or pillow top. This topper gave me just that without compromising the firmness of the mattress. It’s so plush you melt right in! I dont think that it’s holds my body heat which is good. Plus my husband is a heat generator and he doesn’t feel it’s hot either. Had tried several other mattress toppers including a gel memory foam (which my body sank too low in after about 15 minutes). This topper provides a very good cushion above my too firm 2 year old mattress. It has provided some good relief for my husband's and my shoulder pain from too firm a mattress. We have used for about 6 weeks now and it has remained fluffy. We do fluff it up a bit when we change the sheets but the filling does not seem to thin out and slide around as some other toppers have done for us. I recommend this mattress topper to help remedy too firm of a mattress. It seems to be of very good quality. We also put a thin mattress cover on top of this one to prevent having to wash this topper often because it will likely not fit in our top loading washing machine. ... show more

This is my second 3" down alternative mattress topper. I have arthritis in my hips and lower back and could rarely sleep a few hours without having to wake up from pain and switch positions. I sleep soundly without pain now. I have not washed it yet but even if it fell apart I would buy a new one because it works so effectively for me. The first one I bought has not lost any fluffiness in a year. I frequently change the sheets over it so have not seen any soil, smell or stains to have a reason to wash it. But I hear that for some people it did not wash well. I think it would need and industrial washer which is larger than a home washer ... show more
