I bought these tubes to fill a short length of scrap pvc and hang in my side yard garden. That area gets morning sun then mixed shade and sun depending on the time of day and light angle. All summer long this thing has hung there near my climbing rose and daylilies and not one bee took up residence all these months. These tubes came quickly and are of good quality. Utilize Mason Bees for pollinating our 550 tree orchard and set Mason's in the center, and around the perimeter of the area. These are nice because we can replace worn out ones, or simply put them anywhere we want.

Not specific to this product - my mason bees avoid the cardboard tubes like the plague. They love holes in wood and simply ignore these. Cardboard tubes may not work for every species then it seems and it's not the products fault. Just a fact of nature.
