Like Meghan Trainor said... It's all about the base! Haha! The seat has a wide base; yet fits in individual bench or bucket seating in car or van. Great for older kids who you would still like to ride in a booster seat with 'side wings' for head protection. My 7-year-old rides in this seat. Neoprene-type fabric (like a wet suit) for the seat is great for wiping off spills and crumbs and is removable by a zipper. Does not snag at all and the seat is very smooth. Great design! The cup holder is removable. Yay! I wish that the back of the seat had the option to be removed vs being one solid piece to increase the longevity of the product use due to age of the person sitting in the seat. However, the wide base and fabric ( I bought the black one) overrode the inability to have a removable back to the base, because I know it would hold up from the car seat being used and passed down from one kid to the next. ... show more

This is such good quality! I love my Uppa Baby stroller and it’s gone thru 3 kids and still it’s an awesome stroller....so when I was looking to transition my 2nd toddler to a booster I saw the amazing reviews on the Alta booster and was like I dunno that I can justify the price (Chico booster for my 1st child who is now 6...it’s so cheaply made and it’s now getting replaced with another Alta after buying one for my growth chart topping 3 yr old)...I would hands down agree it’s absolutely worth the price! I feel my kids are the most safe in it, yet it’s comfortable, sleek & smartly designed for cleaning up! ... show more

Since we had the baby bucket and craddle through Uppababy it made sense to graduate to the booster by Uppababy. We are very happy with the booster seat. Just read the installation directions, a little confusing but once understood it was great.

It's a good carseat but be mindful when the seat belt goes in the strap holder and gets caught over the arm rest, it is a pain to unstuck. you would need to unhook the carseat do a twistaroo and voila!

Love the ease of installation and adjustability, the visible belt path (red) to show where seat belts should be. The crotch strap is excellent, making sure kids stay in place in an accident.
