The bed itself is great but the drawers for the under portion are very thin and not sturdy at all and no tracking to slide them into, they are free to roll. The center board was missing from the kit so I had to use something I had at home and cut and adjust it to fit. It actually have the bed more stability, I suspect what should have come with it. First all the nails, bolts, washers, etc. were in one bag with none of them marked. In order for me to know what item was what number I had to sort and count them to find out what item corresponded with what number in the instructions. That was very inconvenient and time consuming. Then after I got all the items sorted out, the very first step was to put the legs on the head and foot boards. But there were no starter holes to help me know where to put them. I had to try to figure out where to put the legs and use a cordless screwdriver to put them on. Then the stabilizing bar would not go into the metal holders on the foot and head boards correctly. The metal part of it cut the black fabric and obscured the screw hole. So I had to unscrew one of the metal holders, tape down the fabric and then put the stabilizing bar in the metal holder and re-screw the metal holder. I managed to get most of the bed together and then the slats were too long to fit on the bed. So I had to undo most of what I had accomplished, put the slats on the the bed then redo what I had to undo to make the slats fit. I've ordered furniture, especially beds, and have never had more trouble then I did with this bed. ... show more

The bed looks excellent! One word of warning about shipping; This item comes in two separate boxes. One tracking number is issued for both boxes. FedEx delivered the smaller box first, which makes the tracking number show the shipment as complete. They were unable to inform me over the phone that a second package existed. In fact they specifically said only one box was shipped! 5 to 6 hours later, the bulkier second box arrived, in a completely different truck. This is in no way any fault of the seller! The front rail broke with my 70lb daughter sitting on it. I had it for 4 months. They were out of replacement parts so they offered me a full refund but the customer service was great.

I agree with another review. I received this back in April. I absolutely love the beauty of it. When my best friend and I were putting it together it was very difficult and also missing the wheels for the drawers and miss the feet for the bed. I needed upngetting a full refund because they refused to send out the parts missing. I write this review today because the wood is cheap. Last night, the side of the bed that I sit on ( which.is near the head of the bed and close to my night stand) has broken. The bar above the storage is now rigged until I can find someone to fiplaced. There is now a dip in that area. I am not happy, but I absolutely love this bed. 1st bed I have bought without needing a box spring. Definitely not too sturdy in some places. ... show more

The daybed is made well. The issue I had is they sent me used/broken feet or legs. See pictures I contacted them and they were suppose to reply in 2 days. It's day 3 and still no reply.
