I needed a chair that would fit in our tiny nursery, and would be comfortable for me and my husband. I’m 5’2 and most rockers are so deep, my feet don’t touch the floor and my back has no support. Meanwhile, my husband is a big dude and we needed a chair that wouldn’t break if he sat in it. The measurements and weight limit on this seemed to fit the bill so we tried it - and we are so happy with it! My feet touch the floor and I can rock easily. If I turn the included lumbar support pillow vertically, then my back touches the seat back comfortably. Hubby can rock away without the chair squeaking or struggling. The rocking motion is smooth, quiet and relaxing. And while product quality can be mixed with Amazon furniture, I was satisfied with this. No strong chemical odor or parts that seemed cheaply made. If there is any sort of a catch, I’d say that this is really more of a rocker than a recliner. Yes, it reclines, and you can lift foot rest separately from leaning the chair back, but it takes effort to recline the chair. Personally did not bother me at all, the default angle of the chair back is comfy so I felt no need to recline, but if you plan to recline a lot you should opt for a chair with electric controls. ... show more

We received a damaged product when it arrived. I started the process for a refund. However, I already tore apart the box that was falling apart… as one does when putting together a large item. Now because I’ve started completing the refund process, I am being asked to deliver a ~100lb disassembled chair to UPS…..all because the item was damaged to no fault of my own. ... show more

POSITIVES: 1. The chair is decently comfortable and I enjoy rocking and swiveling in it. 2. It's fairly priced and fits my smaller space well. 3. It was easy to assemble. NEGATIVES: 1. The back skirt portion is NOT centered on the back of the chair and the velcro tape isn't positioned correctly to secure it. This upholstery mis-alignment makes the chair look unsightly from the back. 2. I'm 5'5" and the back is not high enough to support my head. 3. The recliner portion is very stiff and difficult to push back into a returned closed position. 4. I got the "oatmeal" color...although it is neutral it has yellowish undertones...more like a freshly mashed banana! I ordered two and plan on keeping them because it's a hassle to return. IF i had seen and tried them in a storefront, I would not have purchased them. ... show more
