The chair arrived very quickly and safely, the box was not damaged or opened. The packing was perfect; extra strips of cardboard to protect against box cutters, foam circle around the base, and the round base was tied to the underside of the chair so it wouldn’t rotate during shipping. There were also foam bumpers around the hardware on the chair that holds the back piece. The chair comes in 2 separate pieces. Both come in cloth type bags inside the box. The back piece is very light but the main piece is very heavy so it will take 2 people or a hand truck to move. I opened the box outside and carried in the pieces with my husband, then cut up the box and put it in recycling bin. Assembly is 2 steps. Once you get the heavy piece where you want it, remove all the shipping materials and sit the chair upright. Slide the back onto the main unit, it’s pretty straightforward. Push it down until it locks into place on both sides. Step two: attach the edge of that back flap to the UNDERSIDE of the chair, it’s Velcro and should attach tightly. Assembly done! There are instructions if you need them, I didn’t. Now for my initial assessment of the chair: It's very comfortable, and seems pretty durable. The material is a thick sort of knotty fabric that is very tough and send easy to clean. The arms are slender and have piping on the edges, so you can grab onto it and move the chair that way if you need to. It's marketed as a nursery chair, so it's tough enough to handle the destructive energy of small children, rock babies, quickly spin in any direction, and you can lie back and take comfortable cat naps in the same room as the child or baby, etc etc you get the idea. The footrest comes out with a flush switch on the right side armrest, so there are no awkward levers or bars sticking out. It’s made to be pushed or popped closed manually, in case you gotta get up quickly. It rocks nicely, and it spins!! You can lie back and have someone spin you around, it’s so much fun! I am so happy with this chair right now, but if anything of note happens with it, I will return to update my review. As of now, highly recommend!!! ... show more

This is a nice faux leather. Comfy and swivels well. Downside to putting it together is there are brackets for side pieces and I still haven't been able to connect one side.

It's a nice-looking chair, but it's not for me. Pros-- The chair swivels, rocks well, and is easy to recline. The setup was a breeze. The chair comes in two pieces, so once you take off the protective material, all you have to do is connect the back of the chair to the base. The seat portion of the chair is well padded making it comfortable for your bottom. The material is nice and the chair looks nice. Cons--- The back is stiff and short. The chair is not all that comfortable, and it is difficult to get the footrest to close after being opened. The chair is also quite narrow. It's hard for me to picture this chair being comfortable for a new mom. Especially, considering how narrow it is. I personally feel that it's overpriced for what you get considering the lack of comfort . However, furniture is solely dependent on the user experience and just because this wasn't for me, doesn't mean it won't be great for you. ... show more

I can find myself napping in this chair . It's comfortable, was easy to setup and I like how you can do a 360 in the chair while sitting in it, you can spin around. i like it, and the color is neutral so you can put it in any room or decor and it'll still look good.

Hopefully it "fluffs" up as I use it because it a little hard right now but over all it's a nice chair and wasn't to difficult to assemble . Perfect size to support arms while feeding baby.
