This AIERSA Silicone Stove Shelf is a great idea for keeping often used items close to the stove where they're needed most. We use it to hold our four most common spices, and a few cooking utensils. It is not perfect though, because as it is very flexible without a solid base, and the magnets are not as strong as perhaps they should be and it too easily moves around. Perhaps more magnets or even neodymian magnets would have solved this issue. Otherwise it's fine and we like it for now. ... show more

The magnets did not work my stove however always doubled sided tape for many reasons and this worked for it and works now. Felt a bit flimsy but once on it is a lot sturdier. I could barely feel the magnets or have it stick to even my fridge so perhaps stronger magnets? Maybe mine was made a bit differently. I am not sure.     • Too flexible, needs rigid base
I wanted to really like this item. It's made of good quality silicone and is the exact length of the back of my stove. Alas, the extreme flexibility of the material means that there is no stability to it, and it will cause items that normally sit up there to tilt forward and fall off, because the back of this item adds thickness where there wasn't before, so a few of my items (like my stoneware bacon grease crock) no longer fit. If there was a way to add a rigid base to this item, it would be perfect. Alas, without a rigid base, it's unusable, at least for me. The silicone definitely helps to keep items that do fit in place, and it's capable of handling the heat put out by the stove when in use, which helps protect any oils or spices you may store up there (you really shouldn't store them up there where exposure to heat degrades them very quickly). If you keep only smaller items on top of your stove, and maybe a measuring cup or two, this is a great item. Just be aware that there is *no* rigidity or support at all. I'll be going for a stainless steel shelf I have on my wishlist instead. Maybe I'll get that and rest this on top of it for the extra heat protection and other benefits it can provide, such as preventing items from slipping on the slick surface of the metal. ... show more

    • Nice stove-back storage, a little too flexible
This review is for “Stove Shelf,30" Magnetic Shelf for Kitchen Stove, Silicone Over the Stove Rack/Shelf”. The stove back is accessible storage for salt/pepper, seasonings, and other small items, but it’s slippery and anything placed there can be easily knocked off (and possibly lost forever behind the stove). This shelf largely eliminates that problem. It’s made of silicone with embedded magnets to cling to the stove. The length is perfect for a standard 30” wide stove. The magnets work well enough but they aren’t super strong. There’s a lip along the front and sides which increases in size in the back. This prevents things from falling off the stove back. The silicone also provides a grippy surface so things won’t slide around. The problem is that it’s wider than our stove back, so part of the shelf hangs off either in front or in the back. The shelf is stable, but the silicone sags where it’s not supported by the stove back. This means the inner surface isn’t completely flat. It looks a bit sloppy. Granted, the flexibility makes it easier to clean in the sink but I’d rather have a rigid surface. I also dislike the color. I thought the grey wouldn’t be noticeable on stainless steel but it is. Black would be much better. I like this shelf but I don’t love it. I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could. ... show more

    • Doesn't feel magnetic but I like it
Although I don't find this to be magnetic for my LG stove I do actually like using this because I can set items up on top of the stove and not worry about them falling behind it now. It holds quite a bit of my seasonings and if you kitchen gadgets freeing up some space on my countertops with limited room. Overall I think it's a pretty good value and I'm happy to give it the four stars. I took one of the stars away because like I said I did not find this to be magnetic, if there is magnets in there they certainly are not strong. ... show more

Ok stove shelf, not something you want to remove much because the magnets are just pushed through tabs on the bottom and will just pop out and stay on the stove when you go to lift it.

When the package arrives, take it out and let It sit at room temperature for a day. They fold it up into a small package for shipping. Make sure all your magnets are properly installed in the bottom. I had one fall out before I installed it. It slips into a little pocket with no problems. Works great to keep things from sliding off the stove and falling behind it. Also makes items quieter as they aren’t glass on metal on the stove. They are now sitting on top of a silicone shelf. Looks good too. ... show more
