  • Excellent wine fridge
Size: 28 bottles
My wife and I were looking for a wine fridge to replace a non-working under counter ice maker. We did a good bit of research and settled on the AAOBOSI Dual zone fridge. We are very pleased with it. After an easy purchase online, the item arrived about 2 days later and was very well packaged for shipment. We let it sit upright for 24 hours. We then installed it in the space where we removed the old ice maker. It fits well in the space for the 15in wide dimensions. Because most of the bottles we have are larger than the French Bordeaux size bottles, it doesn't quite accommodate 28 bottles. But we are able to easily over 20. The fridge has a great sleek, stylish look and the light gives it a very nice appearance. It is very quiet and so far holds the temps in the two zones very easily. All in all, very happy with this purchase so far. ... show more

  • Love my new wine cooler!
Size: 24 inch
The wine cooler is very elegant, and quiet. I love the dual temperatures, and it is very easy to set up. To take the cooler out of the packaging was much easier than I expected. I weigh less than the cooler, and I set it up all by myself! I've had it running for almost a week, including a 7- hour power outage, and the cooler has run like a charm. Customer service was very helpful in setting up the warranty. ... show more

  • Very good with slight room for improvement
Size: 24 inch cooler
Man, if you are looking for one of these beverage center refrigerators with the ability to be built-in to a cabinet, you know the reviews are all over the board. I finally settled on this one because of the largely positive reviews and the seeming match with my needs. We are preparing for a kitchen remodel and I am stockpiling the needed appliances and other supplies. This arrived two days ago and after waiting 24 hours (recommended by the manufacturer), I plugged in it and loaded some wine, beer, and soda. I set the temperatures on each side and put a refrigerator thermometer in to see how it did. Some of the common complaints I heard about this unit were that it was very noisy (or at least loud) and that it didn't get down to the advertised temperatures. I will say that my unit is not loud. It's a noticeable background white noise, but nothing I would consider distracting, and I imagine it will be further lessened once it is installed in my cabinets rather than sitting in the middle of the floor. It ran for a bit to get to temp, but it actually got a little bit cooler than I set it to. I drank a soda from it about four hours after plugging it in and it was as cold as if I had pulled it from my main refrigerator. The lights inside aren't super bright, but provide some nice ambiance. The controls are logical and easy-to-use. The lowest shelf on the wine side is only about 3/4 of the depth of the refrigerator due to there being a notch in the back for the compressor (or some other mechanical piece). The manual says you can still put three full-sized bottles there, but it didn't work with the bottles I tried. Overall the wine shelves are a bit tight, but you can fit three on each shelf if they are the right size and shape. The soda shelves seem to easily hold three standard 12-ounce cans in the very front of the shelf, but once you go back a bit further it gets a bit tighter due to the guides that the shelves slide into. I don't think I'll be able to get three across in each row, so that will diminish the capacity a bit. The handles were easy to attach, but it does require unseating the seal from the insides of the door to access the screws. It took a bit more force to remove them than I was initially comfortable with, but they pushed right back into place when I was done. The doors seems to seal very well. The temperatures were a bit chilly when the unit arrived. I promptly unboxed it and pulled the emblems off the front of each door. This is a very nice looking unit and I thought those maybe cheapened it a bit. The pulled off with a bit of effort. I'm not sure if it would have been easier if it had been colder of if I had used a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive. Either way, they came off, and I think it's an improvement. The packing was very substantial on this, but not wasteful. And the delivery crew seemed very careful when they placed it on my porch. I mentioned at the beginning that the search for these units that can be installed in a cabinet can be overwhelming and the costs of these is several times what it is for a standalone unit. I did consider buying a standalone unit and just replacing it when it went out, but that seemed wasteful of materials even if it did save me money for the foreseeable future. Obviously I've only had it for a couple of days, but I'm very pleased so far and am hopeful that it will prove to be reliable for years to come. ... show more

  • Elegant Dual zone cooler to Showcase a few of your Favorites
Size: 28 bottles
The media could not be loaded. REVIEW: Aaooboai 28 bottle dual zone 15” wide wine cooler, about $600. Very well packed for shipping. Very heavy upon delivery 99 pounds! Once unpacked, it’s hard to maneuver around because there’s not much clearance from the bottom of the case to the floor. So your fingertips are in jeopardy, unless you drag it around the floor with some cheap potholders or something underneath. The instructions say if you move it full, you may destroy it. Bordeaux! Bordeaux! Bordeaux! Bordeaux versus typical North American size bottle: If you shop for a lot of California or Chilean wines, the bottles are much larger than Bordeaux (France) and you can fit maybe only 18 or 20 inside. I can’t emphasize that enough, even though other people have emphasized it enough. I thought that the bottles I normally buy from the shop are Bordeaux-size bottles, but they’re much larger. The bottom shelf is shorter than the other shelves, as the compressor for the wine cooler sits behind it. You won’t get ANY long bottles in there at all. The smaller upper zone is the cooler zone for whites. The larger bottom zone is the warmer zone for reds. Solidly made, I like the four fans, and the charcoal filter, which you should replace every 12 months. and with the blue LED light on: really sexy and atractive. The compressor versus thermal electric was critical for me as we don’t cool the downstairs, and the temperature can vary 20 degrees daily from the 60s to the 80s Fahrenheit. So I wanted to protect my wine with this cooler, and I don’t think the thermoelectrics would do as well in the heat. One thing I didn’t like straight away: I stripped the screws that attach the door handle to the cooler. It’s an awkward geometry to put those in, including peeling back the silicon/rubber gasket that seals the front door. They should re-engineer that. The screws are cheap Chinese soft metal screws, so if you try to apply pressure you’ll just strip the heads. So, door “on,” and a bit “rattley,” but good enough. If you’re thinking about getting a wine cooler, you probably have more wine than you think. So there are a couple of models in the market specifically tailored to what a North American might buy: the LARGER than Bordeaux bottles. And there are some models that are single zone and nicely fit 26 bottles for about $200. I might consider getting one for just whites and another one for just reds, for a total of about $400 To truly hold 52 bottles, versus $600 for truly only about 20 bottles. And there’s something wrong with the Feng Shui, about “stuffing” wine bottles in a smaller cooler. Not quite an elegant feeling: they should have some elbow room. Again if they’re all French Bordeaux size it would indeed be 28. I think this is really designed as a pretty showcase cooler to hold, have handy, and show off a few of your favorite whites, and maybe three or four of your favorite reds, about two bottles each; to have a nicely presented and ready for a little company. Because it IS really pretty and the detail with the wood frontage on the shelves is nice. The drawer systems are very nice quality, mechanically. The overall interior design, and lighting is really sophiaticated and cool. So in that role, it excels. For a strictly utilitarian use as a cooler, it’s overpriced, too small, and too fancy. Buy two single zone coolers, designed for larger bottles, with stainless steel racks, one for reds, one for whites, in that case. Although I’m pissed off about the stripped screws in the door handle, as it’s elegant and beautiful and otherwise well-made; and the manufacturer emphasizes for Bordeaux size bottles (it being my fault I didn’t realize Bordeaux bottles were smallIer than what I typically buy). I will give it a five out of five stars for what I believe it’s intended purpose is: a beautiful, dual zone, well-displayed and well-made cooler to have a few of your favorites handy in an elegant presentation. ... show more

  • Suitable my cabnet
Size: 24 inch
After adjusting the anchor screws, the overall size of the wine coole is very suitable, which perfectly fits the size of my cabinet. The material is thick, and it looks high-end when it is put in. Although there are only a few keys, it is very convenient. After starting up, the temperature drops quickly, which proves that the compressor is working very well. The fan inside is also very quiet. At night, the digital display feels so bright. The dual-zone temperature control is suitable for different wine storage, which is very good. That's the wine cooler I want. ... show more
