I love the screen quality of the radio it was super simple to install with a friend who knows how to wire things up. Mine also came with a dash cam and a back up cam we've also hooked up the back up cam with ease and it looks and functions great in my 2009 chevy colorado. Overall I'd say go ahead and spend the extra money to get this quality radio and if you have questions sjoybring is very easy to communicate with and help solve any issues you may have!

I purchased this to upgrade a unit in a Ford escape. I wanted a backup camera for my daughter's car and i wanted wireless connectivity to discourage any phone use while she drives. I've installed many stereos, so install was pretty straight forward. I chose to solder all of the wires to the harness on the bench. It's cleaner and easier - not necessary, but i had all the stuff to do it, so I did. Butt connectors work great on every other part of the vehicle and they save a load of time. The trickiest part is placing the brackets on the unit to get a proper fit. Luckily, SJoyBring has plenty of screw holes designed with this in mind. It's not difficult, but you will have to remove and adjust the brackets a few times to get the fit you want. Purchase a fuse tap while you're ordering your stereo and your harness. The ignition power will likely need to come from the fuse, not the harness. A fuse tap makes this super easy. On to the unit itself: It's plenty powerful. I figured there would be no way it's as clear as a factory unit, but it is. And loud enough for me. The touch screen is super responsive and crystal clear. My iphone connects quickly with bluetooth. I love the wireless connectivity and the ability to use voice commands. I'm a fan of Carplay and it works great with this unit. I also really like the sd card slot. I had uploaded all of my favorites onto the computer during last year's long winter. This resulted in hundreds of songs on a tiny little sd card, at my finger tips with no hassle. This unit also has the ability to mirror my phone. I haven't used it yet, just because I've never used it before. The back up camera, the reason I bought the unit, is really clear. Installing any backup camera is time consuming, but not hard. Perfect to do in a heated garage on winter's day off. Oh, one last cool feature - once installed, take a pic of the "about" screen. Send it along with the make of your vehicle and the company will send a firmware update which includes your vehicle's logo on startup. A nice touch. I really don't think you can go wrong with this purchase. Good sound, Carplay, ease of use, good customer service - good value.

I bought this radio for my 2012 prius C. It came with installation instructions and operating instructions. This was my first radio install, so it took me a few hours before it was complete. TLDR; The radio works great. Android auto works well, my speakers sound just as good as before but with more customization and control. Customer service responded timely and I was able to update my radio and put on a Toyota boot logo. Tuning and programing the radio was very easy. Bluetooth works well, touch screen is nice and responsive, and I always enjoyed having a knob to adjust volume even if the steering wheel controls can do it as well. The radio comes with a remote control that takes the little circular batteries, but I don't find the remote necessary for my needs. If there is a feature you dislike you can choose to turn it off like auto connecting android auto. Like the other reviews the screen is very bright during night time. I had adjusted it to almost it's lowest setting. In the instructions it tells you that you will need to purchase: 1. Stereo Wiring harness for your vehicle. I used Red Wolf stereo harness for 1992-2019 Toyota. 2. Antenna adapter. I used Anina radio adapter for 2010-2019 Toyota. 2. Dash kit. I purchased the Metra 95-8239B Double DIN installation kit. 3. If your car has them, a steering wheel control (SWC) interface. I purchased the Axxess ASWC-1 version. There is a product that made my install incredibly easier as there was no soldering. WAGO 221-2401 Lever nuts compact splicing inline wires. I also used a wire stripping tool so I could tap into the pre-existing wires as the instructions for the SWC needs specific connections depending on your vehicle, and if you choose to install the rear camera included you'll have to tap into the rear reverse light for power. The instructions that comes with the radio is great and simple and guided me to a easy installation.
