At first I was disappointed in this as I couldn’t get a narrow enough seam - turns out that I was using it wrong and that the adjustable plate that holds down the fabric needs to be placed in front of the foot, NOT to the side of the foot as I was previously doing. It would have been nice to have had instructions for use included in the package. Came with some additional metal sewing bobbins included. This magnetic seam guide is for me an example of needing to be open to learning new tricks and techniques. I didn't know a tool like this existed. I've been sewing for more decades than I want to admit and have always either just used my machine's etched guidelines or added a strip of masking tape where I needed a different guide. This is truly a game changer. Easy to use with my metal based machine. The magnet is strong enough to stay put but not so strong I can't easily move it when I want to. The curved end for neck lines and such is an amazing bonus. We have four sewing machines and now I'm going to have to order a few more of these! ... show more
