Each of the four hard metal sides is welded together so one only has to attach at the four corners with the screws. The slat connections are secure and hooked to provide extra grip. Very quiet. Makes no noise at all. It does slide around, even on the carpet, a little bit, but not a significant amount. Would recommend putting anti skid points on the bottom if using on hard floors.

Bought this to put our new King Sized Tempurpedic mattress on. The instructions were easy to follow and only took eight Allen key bolts to put together. The crossbars slide into their brackets easily. After putting it together it was very sturdy. Size matched our king size perfectly and the round corners are wonderful. Parts included one extra bolt as well as four plastic mattress gaskets. Overall was a very good value for the money seeing that they wanted 3-times the price for an official platform. We bought jersey sheet set to put under it and used the flat sheet between the mattress and frame to help reduce dust and whatever getting under the open frame. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent frame/platform.

I love that this frame is only 6” high, it has curved edges, and was incredibly easy to put together. Works great for my King size mattress and seems to be very sturdy. It does come with four bed slats that have a rubber adhesive on them to prevent the mattress from sliding. However, I don’t think they worked as well as I would have liked them to. So I bought mattresses gaskets and attached them to the frame. Now it’s perfect.

Took maybe 15 minutes to put together. Very simple and feels very sturdy. I was able to put smaller storage boxes under the bed. One thing to note while this frame may be heavy duty it moves extremely easily. Easy to push around to make the bed as well as move to clean. We put a 14" memory foam on it to give it some extra height.
